WAIAPU COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waiapu County Council, acting under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, proposes to execute a certain public work—namely, to take land for the purposes of a road—and for that purpose the land containing 3 roods 11.4 perches, being part of Section 1, Block IV, Mata Survey District, shown on a plan deposited in the Survey Office at Gisborne under No. 4239 and thereon coloured orange, is required to be taken: Notice is further given that a plan of the land so required for such public work is deposited in the office of the Waiapu County Council at Te Puia and at the offices of Messrs. Nolan and Skeet, Childers Road, Gisborne, and is open for inspection by all persons during office hours. All persons affected by the execution of such public work who have any well-founded objection thereto must state their objection in writing, and deliver same to the Clerk of the Waiapu County Council at Te Puia within forty days of the first publication of this notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that AUTO REPLACEMENTS, LIMITED, has changed its name to THE FRANKTON MOTOR WRECKING AND PARTS COMPANY (INCORPORATING AUTO REPLACEMENTS), LIMITED, and that the new name was this day entered on my Register of Companies in place of the former name.

NOTICE is hereby given that the above company, by resolution dated 15th February, 1943, went into voluntary liquidation and appointed the undersigned as liquidator.

Notice to Creditors to Prove.

The liquidator of The Fur Trading Company of New Zealand, Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily, hereby fixes the 19th day of March, 1943, as the last on or before which creditors of the company are to prove their debts or claims and to establish any title they may have to priority under section 258 of the Act, otherwise they may be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved or, as the case may be, from objecting to such distribution.

THE HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL.

LOWRY BAY WATER AND SEWERAGE SUPPLEMENTARY LOAN, 1942.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the work for which the Lowry Bay Water and Sewerage Loan, 1939, was raised, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three one-hundredths of a penny in the pound (3/100d. in the pound) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Lowry Bay Special-rating Area, comprising all that area more particularly described in the resolution of the Hutt County Council making a special rate in relation to the Lowry Bay Water and Sewerage Loan, 1939, gazetted in the New Zealand Gazette No. 59 of the 3rd August, 1939, at page 2122; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years or until the loan is fully paid off."

We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Hutt County Council held on the 19th day of February, 1943.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

"That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £270, authorized to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of completing the work for which the York Bay Water and Sewerage Loan, 1939, was raised, the said Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing in the pound (¼d. in the pound) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the York Bay Special-rating Area, comprising all that area more particularly described in the resolution of the Hutt County Council making a special rate in relation to the York Bay Water and Sewerage Loan, 1939, gazetted in the New Zealand Gazette No. 105 of the 7th September, 1939, at page 2457; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years or until the loan is fully paid off."

We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Hutt County Council held on the 19th day of February, 1943.
