TE AWAMUTU BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf
by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Te Awamutu
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:-

"That, for the purpose of providing principal, interest, and
other charges on a loan of £2,300, authorized to be raised by the
Te Awamutu Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for
the purpose of dedicating and constructing a new street from
Alexandra Street west of the railway-line to Tawhaio Street, including
the purchase of land and erecting fencing, the said Te Awamutu
Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-
sixteenths of a penny (³⁄₁₆d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of
all rateable property of the Borough of Te Awamutu, comprising
the whole of the said borough; and that such special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years
or until the loan is fully paid off."

I certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting
of the Te Awamutu Borough Council held on the 22nd day of
February, 1943.
