PRIVATE BILL.

A Private Bill intituled “An Act to Incorporate the General Council of The Girl Guides’ Association (New Zealand Branch).”

NOTICE is hereby given that The Girl Guides’ Association (Dominion of New Zealand Branch), intends to apply by petition to the General Assembly of New Zealand at its next session for the passing of a Private Bill, the short title of which is “The Girl Guides’ Association (New Zealand Branch) Incorporation Act, 1942,” to effect the following objects:—
(a) To provide for the incorporation of the members of the General Council of the Girl Guides’ Association (New Zealand Branch) by the name of “The Girl Guides’ Association (New Zealand Branch) Incorporated,” having perpetual succession and a common seal and capable of holding real and personal property, and of doing and suffering all that bodies corporate may do and suffer.
(b) To provide that the control of the Girl Guides’ movement in all its activities in New Zealand shall be vested in the Corporation.
(c) To provide that the Corporation may from time to time alter and amend the constitution and by-laws, and may thereby delegate the administration of any matter.
(d) To provide that the Corporation shall have power to require that all real and personal property belonging to the New Zealand Branch, or held in trust for the same, shall be transferred to or vested in the Corporation.
(e) To provide that sections 13 to 18 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908, shall apply to the Corporation.
(f ) To provide for registration of the constitution and by-laws with the Registrar of Incorporated Societies.
Printed copies of the proposed Bill will be deposited in the Private Bill Office, Parliament Buildings, Wellington, not later than fourteen days after the commencement of the session.

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand made at Christchurch, and dated the 4th day of September, 1942, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £4,600 to £2,300, and the minute (approved by the Court) showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute, were registered by the Registrar of Companies at Christchurch on the 9th day of September, 1942 ; and further take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures following:—
“That the capital of The Cheviot Motor Company, Limited, henceforth is £2,300 divided into 4,600 shares of 10s. each, instead of the present registered capital of £4,600 divided into 4,600 shares of 20s. each, each of which shares of 10s. is deemed to be fully paid up.”

NOTICE TO DEBENTURE-HOLDERS OF INTENTION TO EXERCISE OPTION.

In the matter of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Mount Eden Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 1).

IN pursuance of section 16 of the Mount Eden Borough Loans Conversion Order, 1934 (No. 1), and the terms under which securities authorized by the said Order were issued, the Mount Eden Borough Council at a meeting held on the 21st day of July, 1942, resolved to exercise the option contained in the securities in respect of all debentures maturing on the 1st day of April, 1944, the 1st day of April, 1945, the 1st day of April, 1946, the 1st day of April, 1947, and the 1st day of April, 1948, respectively, of the Mount Eden Borough Conversion Loan, 1934 (No. 1); and public notice is accordingly hereby given of the Mount Eden Borough Council’s intention to redeem such debentures of the said loan on the 1st day of April, 1943, and interest thereon will cease on the said day, viz.:—
Debentures Nos. 438 to 558 inclusive, maturing on the 1st April, 1944.
Debentures Nos. 559 to 734 inclusive, maturing on the 1st April, 1945.
Debentures Nos. 735 to 920 inclusive, maturing on the 1st April, 1946.
