In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of MOORCRAFT VACUUM BREAK MILKERS, LTD.
NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the members of above-named company has been summoned for the purpose of passing a resolution for voluntarily winding up, and that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will be held at No. 104 Chancery Chambers, O'Connell Street, Auckland, on Tuesday, the 29th day of September, 1942, at 11.30 o'clock in the forenoon.

- Appointment of committee of inspection, if thought fit.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
Consolidated Loan, 1921 : Renewal Loan, £167,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows :-
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £167,000, authorized to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Act, and to be known as the ‘Consolidated Loan, 1921: Renewal Loan, 1943,’ for the purpose of repaying, to the extent that sinking funds are not available, a loan of £400,000 raised in London by the issue of bearer debentures in 1921, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and three-tenths pence (13/10 d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property (on the basis of the annual value) in the whole of the City of Auckland; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Certified to be a true and correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 17th day of September, 1942.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
Grey Lynn Renewal Loan, 1942, £14,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council resolves as follows :-
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £14,000, authorized to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Act, and to be known as the ‘Grey Lynn Renewal Loan, 1942,’ for the purpose of repaying, to the extent that sinking funds are not available, loans of £12,500 and £32,500 raised in 1908 and 1909 respectively. the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four twenty-fifths of a penny (4/25 d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property (on the basis of the annual value) in the whole of the City of Auckland; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of nine years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
