Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public
Road in Block XV, Omapere Survey District, North
Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto
traverses Native land and has been used by the
public as if it were a public road and has been formed,
improved, or maintained out of public funds:
And whereas the Native Land Court, by an order made
on the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred
and forty-two, and issued pursuant to section four
hundred and eighty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931,
ordered and declared the said road to be a public road:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is
in the public interest that the said road should be pro-
claimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect
has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands in terms of
section four hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land
Act, 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road
should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sec-
tion four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land
Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road
described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a
road: 2 roods 30 perches.
Being part Taraire No. 1 Road-line.
Situated in Block XV, Omapere Survey District.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and
S. 16/2812B, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2901,
and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and
issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th
day of August, 1942.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the Borough of Oamaru
of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 40 ft.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of
August, 1942.
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other
powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the
Oamaru Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the
street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than
sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet.
SCHEDULE.
THAT proposed street in the Otago Land District, Borough
of Oamaru, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 38 41
perches, being part Reserve D, Town of Oamaru. As the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 113543, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Consenting to the Assignment to Muriel Lavina Arnold and
Roy Kirkham Arnold, Garage-proprietors, of Wataroa, by
Francis Patrick Butler, of Matainui, of his Rights, Powers,
and Privileges under an Order in Council dated the 12th
Day of December, 1935.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of
August, 1942.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other
power in anyway enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the
assignment to Muriel Lavina Arnold and Roy Kirkham
Arnold, Garage-proprietors, of Wataroa, by Francis Patrick
Butler, of Matainui, of his rights, powers, and privileges
under an Order in Council dated the twelfth day of December,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, and published
in the New Zealand Gazette No. 96 of the nineteenth day of
the same month, authorizing the said Francis Patrick Butler
to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric-lines
described in the Schedule thereto.

Waimatenui Domain.

August, 1942.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
William George Cummings,
James Jarvie Lindsay Rintoul,
James Isaccson,
Frank Emile Schepens, and
Maxwell peers-Adams
to be the Waimatenui Domain Board, having control of
the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth
hereby appoint Thursday, the twentieth day of August,
one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, at seven
o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Waimatenui
Public Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of
the Board shall be held.

the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
William John Campbell,
Ivor Charles Percy Webb,
William Norton Bertrand,
Richard Mounsey, and
Arthur John Travers Webb
to be the Purangi Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby appoint
Thursday, the twenty-fourth day of September, one thousand
nine hundred and forty-two, at 8 o'clock p.m., as the time
when, and the Purangi Hall as the place where, the first
meeting of the Board shall be held.
