THE following special order made by the Maniototo County Council is published in accordance with the provisions of the Counties Amendment Act, 1931.

SPECIAL ORDER.

PURSUANT to and in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Counties Amendment Act, 1931, the Maniototo County Council hereby resolves by way of special order :—

“ That, as from the close of the financial year ending the 31st day of March, 1943, sections 121 and 131 of the Counties Act, 1920, shall not apply to the Maniototo County Council, and that the balances then standing to the debit or credit of the separate ridings accounts be transferred to and incorporated in the General Account.”

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and inhabitants of the County of Maniototo was hereunto affixed at the office, and pursuant to a resolution, of the Maniototo County Council in the presence of—
