Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Konini Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Konini Domain Board.

Vesting a Reserve in the Invercargill City Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of June, 1942.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for drainage purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill, in trust, for drainage purposes.
SCHEDULE.
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 24·7 perches, more or less, being part Section 29, Block I, Invercargill Hundred, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-west corner of Lot 20, D.P. 1244, Block I, Township of Wellesley; thence in a south-easterly direction along the south-western boundary of the said Lot 20 and Hawke Street, 333·8 links; thence in a north-westerly direction along a railway reserve, 74·19 links and 283·8 links, to the south-western end of Philip Street; thence in a south-easterly direction along the southern end of the said Philip Street, 50·23 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/2695A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
John Melville Hull,
Gilbert John Godinagh,
George Arthur Hull,
Robert George Low, and
Hugh Burch
to be the Alfredton Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Alfredton Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

to be the Tuapeka Mouth Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the fourth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Coronation Hall, Tuapeka Mouth, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—TUAPEKA MOUTH DOMAIN.
ALL that area containing 8 acres 3 roods 27·67 perches, more or less, being part of Section 170, Block I, Waitahuna West Survey District, and being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 269, folio 33, Dunedin Registry.

Appointing Members of the Second Division of the Court of Appeal.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, the Honourable Sir Henry Hubert Ostler was appointed a member of the Second Division of the Court of Appeal for the year one thousand nine hundred and forty-two:
And whereas it is expedient for the purposes of the business of the said Division as on and from the twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, to appoint another Judge as a member of the said Division in place of the said Honourable Sir Henry Hubert Ostler, whose appointment it is consequently necessary as on and from that date to revoke:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, and in exercise of the authority conferred upon him by the Judicature Amendment Act, 1913, and in pursuance of the recommendation of the Right Honourable the Chief Justice, the Honourable Mr. Justice Ostler, the Honourable Mr. Justice Smith, the Honourable Mr. Justice Johnston, and the Honourable Mr. Justice Fair, doth revoke as on and from the said twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, the said appointment of the Honourable Sir Henry Hubert Ostler, and doth appoint the Honourable Robert Kennedy, Judge, as on and from the said twenty-ninth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, to be a member of the said Second Division of the Court of Appeal in the place of the said Honourable Sir Henry Hubert Ostler.
