Crown Land and Reserve set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land and reserve described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Amuri County, containing by admeasurement 49,000 acres, more or less, and being part Section 5, Square 56, Blocks IX, X, XIII, and XIV, Rotoiti Survey District, and Block XVI, Arnaud Survey District; Section 6, Blocks I, II, V, VI, IX, and X, Rotoiti Survey District; Section 7, Block XV, Motupiko Survey District; and Section 7, Blocks II, III, VI, VII, X, XI, XIV, and XV, Rotoiti Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 115/3, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Nelson plan S.O. 9106.)

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY.

All that area in the Marlborough Land District containing by admeasurement 98,923 acres, more or less, being Crown land, 83,724 acres, and Water-conservation Reserve, 15,199 acres, and described as follows: All that area in Marlborough County containing by admeasurement 15,199 acres, more or less, being the southern part of Pastoral Run 151 (Water-conservation Reserve—Gazette, 1939, page 1448), situated in Blocks I, II, V, and IX, Leatham Survey District, and Blocks IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII, Raglan Survey District.

Also all that area in Marlborough and Amuri Counties containing by admeasurement 48,500 acres, more or less, being part of Pastoral Run 149B, situated in Blocks V, VI, IX, X, XIII, and XIV, Leatham Survey District, Blocks VII, VIII, IX, and X, Raglan Survey District, and Blocks I, II, III, VII, and VIII, Molesworth Survey District.

Also all that area in Marlborough and Amuri Counties containing by admeasurement 35,224 acres, more or less, being Pastoral Run 150, situated in Blocks X, XI, XIII, XIV, and XV, Leatham Survey District, and Blocks III, IV, V, VII, VIII, IX, XII, and XIII, Molesworth Survey District. As the same are more particularly delineated on plans Nos. 116/1, 116/2, 116/3, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of April, 1942.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Amuri County, containing by admeasurement 40 acres, more or less, and being Section 32, Block II, Lyndon Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 129/47, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of April, 1942.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, Clifton County, containing by admeasurement 167 acres 3 roods 2 perches, more or less, being Section 25, Block VIII, Mimi Survey District (formerly part Lot 2, D.P. 5816, part Section 19, Block VIII, Mimi Survey District), and Section 12, Block XII, Mimi Survey District (formerly part Lot 2, D.P. 5816, part Section 7, Block XII, Mimi Survey District). As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 51/6, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Taranaki plan S.O. 7978.)
