Consenting to Additional Land being taken for a Public School
in the City of Wellington.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of
April, 1942.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all
other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for a
public school.

SCHEDULE.

Approximate areas of the pieces of land permitted to be
taken:—

0 0 6·63 Part Lot 15, D.P. 728, being part of Section
776, Town of Wellington; coloured red.
0 0 6·85 Part Lot 15, D.P. 728, being part of Section
776, Town of Wellington; coloured
yellow.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 113233,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Block IX, Belmont Survey District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all
other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His
Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent
to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for
housing purposes.

Approximate area of the piece of land permitted to be
taken: 3 acres 0 roods 25 perches.

Being Subdivision 3 of Section 58, Hutt District.

Declaring Portion of Road to be Government Road in Block X,
Kairanga Survey District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of
April, 1942.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on
and after the date of this Order in Council, become
Government road.

SCHEDULE.

Approximate area of the piece of road declared to be
Government road: 2 acres 0 roods 5·44 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Section 1565 and Lot 2 on
D.P. 7073, being part Section 1564.

Situated in Block X, Kairanga Survey District. (S.O.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 113906,

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off White’s Line West,
in the City of Lower Hutt, of a Width less than 66 ft. but not
less than 50 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of
April, 1942.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public
Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling
him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby authorize the Lower Hutt City Council to permit
the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule
hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than
fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part
of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting
the western side of the proposed street within a distance of
forty-eight feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE.

That proposed street in the Wellington Land District,
containing by admeasurement 1 rood 27·8 perches, more or
less, being part Lot 2, D.P. 5897, part Section 11, Hutt
District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked P.W.D. 112500, deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
red.

The Northern Side of Portion of Tweed Street, in the County
of Taieri, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of
the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to
the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of
April, 1942.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following
resolution passed by the Taieri County Council on the thirtieth
day of January, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two,
in so far as it affects the side and portion of road described
in the Schedule hereto, viz.:—

“The Taieri County Council, being the local authority
having control of the roads in the County of Taieri, by
resolution declares that the provisions of section one
hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928,
will not apply to the portion of road being portion of
Tweed Street fronting the south side of Sections Twenty
(20) and Twenty-one (21), Deposited Plan No. 33 (Otago
Registry). The said portion of road is marked on the
accompanying plan, and the exempted portion is thereon
edged red;”

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the northern
side of portion of Tweed Street (described in the Schedule
hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-
line of the said portion of road.
