A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a provisional State forest set apart by Proclamation dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the fourteenth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing 1058 acres, more or less, being part Reserve 1630 (provisional State forest), situated in Block VIII, Waitaha Survey District, and Block V, Totara Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 3084, Block VIII, Waitaha Survey District, and running westerly along the northern boundary of the said Section 3084 for 2452 links to a public road; thence northerly along the eastern side of the said public road for 8·4 links and 453·8 links; thence by a right line bearing 42° 53′ 30″ for 1900 links to the northern boundary of Block VIII, Waitaha Survey District; thence due east along that boundary to the eastern boundary of the said Block VIII, Waitaha Survey District; thence due south along that boundary for 1800 links; thence by a right line bearing 90° 00′ for 5888·6 links to the western boundary of Reserve 1183, Block V, Totara Survey District; thence southerly along that boundary for 10040 links to its junction with the northern boundary of Reserve 210, Block VIII, Waitaha Survey District; thence westerly along that boundary, the abutment of a road, and again along the northern boundary of the said Reserve 210 for 10813·3 links; thence by right lines bearing 269° 58′ 40″ for 237 links and 269° 49′ for 820·5 links to the eastern side of Stuart and Chapman’s Tramway; thence northerly along the eastern side of that tramway for 2325 links and 4233·9 links to the southern boundary of Section 3084 aforesaid; thence easterly and northerly along the southern and eastern boundaries respectively of the said Section 3084 to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked X/98/38c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of April, 1942.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1592, set apart by Proclamation dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the fourteenth day of that month, and portion of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1730, set apart by Proclamation dated the tenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and gazetted on the seventeenth day of that month, as amended by Proclamation dated the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and gazetted on the fifth day of February of that year, are required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such lands shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing 470 acres, more or less, being portion of Reserve 1592 (provisional State forest), situated in Block III, Mawheranui Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 3400, Block III, Mawheranui Survey District, and proceeding generally in an easterly direction along the southern side of the Blackball–Moonlight Road to the western corner of a gravel reserve; thence along the southern side of that gravel reserve and again by the southern side of the Blackball–Moonlight Road to the north-western corner of Section 3303, Block III, Mawheranui Survey District; thence by a line to a point on the western boundary of Section 4, Block III, Mawheranui Survey District, 400 links, to the southward from the aforesaid Blackball–Moonlight Road; thence in a southerly direction along the said western boundary of Section 4 and the production thereof for 3500 links; thence by a right line bearing 119° for 2800 links to the south-western boundary of Section 3303 aforesaid; thence by right lines bearing 238° for 5800 links and 302° for 1800 links to the south-eastern corner of Section 3400 aforesaid; thence in a north-westerly direction along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 3400 to the point of commencement.
And also all that area containing 145 acres, more or less, being portion of Reserve 1730 (provisional State forest), situated in Block III, Mawheranui Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 3400, Block III, Mawheranui Survey District, and proceeding by right lines bearing 122° for 1800 links and 58° for 5800 links to a point on the south-western boundary of Section 3303, Block III, Mawheranui Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction along that boundary and the production thereof to the right bank of the Grey River; thence in a south-westerly direction by the said right bank of the Grey River to a point in line with the production of the north-eastern boundary of Section 3400 aforesaid; thence by that line to the point of commencement. As the same are more particularly delineated on plan marked X/98/80b, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of April, 1942.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by subsection one of section eight of the Housing Amendment Act, 1940, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act, 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act, 1924.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that land containing by admeasurement 2 roods 32·99 perches, more or less, situated in the Borough of Blenheim, being part of Section 2, District of Omaka, and being also Lot 19 on plan No. 1712, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Blenheim.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of April, 1942.
