Crown Land set apart as a Provisional State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a provisional State forest.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WESTLAND CONSERVANCY.
ALL that area of Crown land in the Westland Land District containing by admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 23·8 perches, more or less, parts formerly being closed road, situated in Block XI, Bruce Bay Survey District, and bounded as follows: On the north by the Main South Road as defined by Gazette 1941, page 1328, on the east and south by Section 878, Block XI, Bruce Bay Survey District (provisional State forest, Gazette, 1934, page 1389), and on the west by Native Reserve 785, Block XI, Bruce Bay Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 138/20, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of March, 1942.

SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON CONSERVANCY.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Waimea and Takaka Counties, containing by admeasurement 6,866 acres 1 rood 38 perches, more or less, being provisional State forest (Gazette, 1920, pages 2110 and 2113, national endowment provisional State forest, 2,372 acres 1 rood 38 perches), and Crown land, 4,494 acres, and being Sections 2, 3, 4, and 5, Block XV, Kaiteriteri Survey District, Sections 9, 10, 14, and 15, Block I, Motueka Survey District, and Section 21, Block XV, and Section 9, Block XIX, Takaka Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 99/3, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of March, 1942.

Approving the Term of a License granted to the Kaitangata Coal Company, Limited, for a Tramway along and across certain Streets within the Borough of Kaitangata.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of March, 1942.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Tramways Act, 1908, and the Tramways Amendment Act, 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the term of the license granted for a period of twenty-one years from the second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, by the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Kaitangata to the Kaitangata Coal Company, Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office for New Zealand at Kaitangata (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”), authorizing the licensee to construct and maintain a private tramway on, across, and along certain streets within the Borough of Kaitangata, the position of such tramway being more particularly shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 111759, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Approving the Terms of a License granted to G. A. Gamman and Company, Limited, for a Tramway across the Hamilton—Rotorua Main Highway.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of March, 1942.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Tramways Act, 1908, and the Tramways Amendment Act, 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the term of the license granted for a period of ten years from the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-two, by the Main Highways Board to G. A. Gamman and Company, Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office for New Zealand at Mamaku (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”), authorizing the licensee to construct and maintain a private tramway on and across the Hamilton—Rotorua Main Highway, the position of such tramway being more particularly shown on the plan marked P.W.D. 112368, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
