of Essential Undertaking (No. 28).

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 9 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of National Service doth hereby declare the undertaking set forth hereunder to be an essential undertaking for the purposes of those regulations:

The building and construction of a cool store at Waterloo Quay, Wellington, for the Co-operative Dairy Producers' Freezing Co., Ltd.

National Service Emergency Regulations 1940—Declaration of Essential Undertakings (No. 41).

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 9 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of National Service doth hereby declare the undertakings set forth hereunder to be essential undertakings for the purposes of those regulations:

The building and construction of all those buildings under construction or to be constructed at Hillcrest, Hamilton, that will comprise a munitions factory for the New Zealand Government.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 9 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of National Service doth hereby declare the construction of hospitals, including additions and alterations thereto, and including also such construction being carried out by any Government Department, to be an essential industry for the purposes of those regulations.

National Service Emergency Regulations 1940—Amendment to Declaration of Essential Industry (No. 1).

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regulation 9 of the National Service Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of National Service doth hereby amend the Declaration of Essential Industry (No. 1) by adding thereto, after the words “including Government undertakings engaged therein,” the words “and including also the construction and maintenance of works for the generation, storage, and distribution of electrical energy.”
