WILSON,\nFor the Minister of National Service.\nThe Strike and Lockout Emergency Regulations 1939.--Appointment of Emergency Disputes Committee.\n\nIN pursuance of the powers in that behalf conferred upon\nhim by the Strike and Lockout Emergency Regulations\n1939, the Minister of Labour does hereby appoint the following\npersons to be an Emergency Disputes Committee for the\npurposes of the said regulations, and does refer to that\ncommittee a dispute which has arisen between the Canterbury\nFreezing-works and Related Trades Employees' Industrial\nUnion of Workers and Thos. WEBB, Minister of Labour.\nNotice of Intention to take Land in Blocks III, IV, and VIII, Russell Survey District, for Road.\nNOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a\ncertain public work-to wit, the construction of a road-and for the purposes of such public work the land\ndescribed in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plans of the\nland so required to be taken are deposited in the post-office at Russell and are there open for inspection ; and that\nall persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have\nany well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the\nsame in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of\nPublic Works at Wellington.\nSCHEDULE.\nApproximate Areas of the Pieces Being Situated in Shown on Coloured on\nof Land required Block Plan Plan\nto be taken.\nA.
