National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Declaration
of Essential Undertakings (No. 24).

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regula-
tion 9 of the National Service Emergency Regulations
1940, the Minister of National Service doth hereby declare

the industry of scheelite mining to be an essential industry
for the purposes of those regulations.

National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Declaration
of Essential Undertaking (No. 29).

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regula-
tion 9 of the National Service Emergency Regulations
1940, the Minister of National Service doth hereby declare
the Mental Hospitals Department in respect only of every
institution as defined in the Mental Defectives Act, 1911,
to be an essential undertaking for the purposes of those
regulations.

National Service Emergency Regulations 1940.—Amendment
to Declaration of Essential Undertakings (No. 11).

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon him by Regula-
tion 9 of the National Service Emergency Regulations
1940, the Minister of National Service doth hereby amend
the Declaration of Essential Undertakings (No. 11) by
deleting therefrom the words “Lane, Walker, Rudkin, Ltd.,
at Dunedin,” and by substituting therefor the words

“Lane, Walker, Rudkin, Ltd., at Christchurch.”
