(2) For the purpose of assisting in the administration of this scheme, there shall be a committee which shall consist of the following members:-
(a) The two members appointed for the time being for the purpose of paragraphs (a) and (b) of clause (2) of the milk scheme;
(b) One member to be appointed by the parties to this scheme;
(c) The Zoning Officer for the South Island.
(3) On the death or resignation of any member of the committee, the vacancy created thereby shall be filled by appointment in the manner in which the vacating member was appointed.
(4) The functions of the committee shall be to receive and investigate complaints affecting the administration of the scheme, to advise the Minister on any matters that may be referred to the committee by the Minister or that may be considered by it of its own motion, and to make recommendations to the Minister for amending this scheme.
(5) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme the committee may regulate its procedure in such manner as it thinks fit.
(6) The following shall be conditions of this scheme:-
(a) Meat shall be delivered within zone numbered three to wholesale purchasers only;
(b) Meat shall be delivered within zone numbered two to wholesale purchasers only except on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays;
(c) The parties to this scheme shall deliver meat only within the areas allotted to them by the next succeeding clause.
(7) The names of the vendors who are parties to this scheme and the areas within which they may deliver meat subject to the conditions of the last preceding clause are as follows:-

The Shops and Offices Act, 1921-22, and its Amendments.--Fixing the Closing-hours of Fruiters' Shops within the Borough of Hamilton.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing has been forwarded to the Minister of Labour from the occupiers of fruiterers' shops within the Borough of Hamilton pursuant to section 32 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921-22:
And whereas he is satisfied that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all such shops within the said borough:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of the said section 32, the Minister of Labour doth hereby direct that on and after the 14th day of December, 1942, all such shops within the said borough shall be closed in the evening of working-days as follows: On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 6 p.m., and on Fridays at 9.30 p.m., with the following exceptions:-
(1) On the working-day immediately preceding Anzac Day, Good Friday, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day, there shall be no fixed closing-hour; and
(2) On the Friday immediately preceding Christmas Day or New Year's Day, when any such day falls on a Sunday or a Monday, there shall be no fixed closing-hour.
The notice gazetted on the 26th August, 1937, fixing the closing-hours of fruiterers' shops within the Borough of Hamilton, shall be and is hereby cancelled as from the date of the coming into operation of this notice.

The Shops and Offices Act, 1921-22, and its Amendments.--Prohibiting the Sale within the Borough of Hamilton of certain Goods comprised in the Trade of a Fruiterer.
WHEREAS a petition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the fruiterers' shops within the Borough of Hamilton, has been forwarded to the Minister of Labour desiring that the sale of certain goods comprised in the trade of a fruiterer--namely, fresh and preserved fruit (other than jam) and vegetables--be prohibited during such time as the said shops are required to be closed in pursuance of the Shops and Offices Act, 1921-22:
And whereas he is satisfied that the sale of the said goods is comprised in the said trade within the said borough, and that the signatures to such petition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the said shops within the said borough:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 33 of the said Act, the Minister of Labour doth hereby direct that on and after the 14th day of December, 1942, the sale of the said goods within the said borough shall be and is hereby prohibited as follows: On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays after the hour of 6 p.m., and on Fridays after the hour of 9.30 p.m., with the following exceptions:-
(1) On the working-day immediately preceding Anzac Day, Good Friday, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day the sale of the said goods is not prohibited; and
(2) On the Friday immediately preceding Christmas Day and New Year's Day, when such days fall on a Sunday or a Monday, the sale of the said goods is not prohibited.
The notice gazetted on the 26th August, 1937, prohibiting the sale within the Borough of Hamilton of certain goods comprised in the trade of a fruiterer shall be and is hereby cancelled as from the date of the coming into operation of this notice.

Declaring a Special Egg Marketing Area at Blenheim.
PURSUANT to the Egg Marketing Emergency Regulations 1942, I, James Gillispie Barclay, Minister of Marketing, do hereby declare:-
(a) That the boundaries of the said marketing area shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto:
(b) That this notice shall take effect on the 1st day of December, 1942.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District within a circuit of thirteen miles measured from the centre of Market Square, Blenheim, and including the townships of Seddon, Okaramio, and Koromiko.
