towards the north generally by the City of Christchurch from a point
on the left bank of the Heathcote River at the southernmost corner
of the said City of Christchurch opposite the north-eastern corner
of R.S. 383 to a point north of the Heathcote Bridge at the mouth of
the Heathcote River and in line with the production of a right line
bearing 265° 09' ; thence easterly along that line to the southern-
most corner of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 369, folio 2,
Canterbury Registry; thence southerly across the junction of the
Sumner Road with St. Andrew's Hill Road to the northernmost
corner of Lot 5, deposited plan No. 11359 ; thence southerly along
the eastern side of the Bridle Path Road to the northern boundary
of R.S. 1161 ; thence easterly along that boundary and southerly
along the eastern boundary of the said R.S. 1161 and the western

boundary of Reserve 3504 and through R.S. 383 to the north-
eastern corner thereof; thence northerly by a right line to a point
on the left bank of the Heathcote River at the southernmost corner
of the City of Christchurch, the point of commencement.

THIRD SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF THE AVONSIDE RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF
HEATHCOTE.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line
commencing at a point on the intersection of the south-eastern side
of Avonside Drive with the north-western side of Wainoni Road,
being a point on the existing boundary of the City of Christchurch;
thence proceeding north-easterly generally along that boundary to a
point in line with the north-western side of Page's Road; thence
south-westerly by a right line across the River Avon to and along
the said north-western side of Page's Road to a point in line with
the production of the eastern boundary of Lot 9, deposited plan
No. 2698; thence along that line to a point on the south-eastern
side of Page's Road aforesaid, being a point on the existing boundary
of the City of Christchurch; thence south-westerly and north-
easterly generally along that boundary to the point of commence-
ment.

BOUNDARIES OF THE MOUNT PLEASANT RIDING OF THE COUNTY
OF HEATHCOTE.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a
line commencing at a point on the intersection of the northern
boundary of R.S. 1161 with the eastern side of the Bridle Path
Road, being a point on the existing boundary of the City of Christ-
church; thence southerly along the said eastern side of the Bridle
Path Road to a point in line with the southern boundary of R.S. 1161
aforesaid; thence easterly along that boundary and its production
to the eastern side of Major Hornbrook's Road; thence southerly
generally along the said eastern side of that road to a point in line
with the eastern boundary of R.S. 36793 (closed road); thence to
and along that boundary across the Summit Road and along the
eastern side of Hill Top Road and the north-eastern boundaries of
R.S's 36956 (closed road), 24077r (closed road), to the intersection of
that boundary with the south-western boundary of the Borough of
Sumner; thence northerly generally along the western boundary of
that borough to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of
the County of Heathcote; thence north-westerly along that boundary
to its intersection with the boundary of the City of Christchurch at
a point on the north side of Sumner Road in line with the eastern
boundary of Lot 71, deposited plan No. 3838; thence south-
westerly generally, northerly, and westerly along the said City of
Christchurch boundary to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF THE HILLSBOROUGH RIDING OF THE COUNTY OF
HEATHCOTE.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line
commencing at a point on the left bank of the Heathcote River in line
with the north-western boundary of R.S. 329, being a point on the
City of Christchurch boundary; thence south-westerly to and along
the said north-western boundary of that section to Scrutton's
Road; thence southerly by the eastern side of that road to a point
in line with the northern boundary of R.S. 966; thence to and
along that boundary; thence southerly along the western boundaries
of the said R.S. 966, R.S. 104, R.S. 23594, and R.S. 23560 to the
northern boundary of the Borough of Lyttelton; thence south-
westerly generally along that boundary and the summit of the Port
Hills to the road forming the eastern boundary of R.S. 11549; thence
north-westerly generally along the western side of the road forming
the eastern boundary of R.S's 11549, 17908, 34655, and 2135 to
the easternmost corner of R.S. 2115; thence north-westerly along
the north-eastern boundary of the said R.S. 2115 and its production
to the boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence north-easterly
generally along that boundary to the point of commencement.
