SCHEDULE.
AREA PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM THE COUNTY OF WAIMAIRI AND INCLUDED IN THE CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH.
ALL that area of land in the Canterbury Land District, being part of the Avon Riding of the Waimairi County and bounded by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of the City of Christchurch, being the intersection of the centre-line of Banks Avenue and the production westward of the northern side of Cooper's Road; proceeding thence easterly to and along the north side of Cooper's Road to the eastern boundary of Section 45, S.O. plan 7026; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 45 and 19, S.O. plan 7026, across Achilles Street, to and along the eastern boundary of Section 18, S.O. plan 7048, to the north-eastern corner of said Section 18; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of Sections 18, 17, 15, S.O. plan 7048, across Bampton Street, to and along the northern boundaries of Sections 13, G, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, and 6 on the said plan to the south-eastern corner of Section 46, S.O. plan 7140; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 46, 47, 48, and 49, S.O. plan 7140, to the south-eastern corner of Lot 2, D.P. 12120; thence northerly, westerly, and northerly along the eastern, northern, and eastern boundaries of the said Lot 2, D.P. 12120, to the southern side of New Brighton Road; thence westerly along the southern side of New Brighton Road and its production westward to the centre of North Parade (being a point on the boundary of the City of Christchurch); thence southerly and south-easterly along the said boundary of the City of Christchurch to the commencing point.

Redefining Boundaries of the City of Christchurch, the County of Heathcote, and the Avonside, Mount Pleasant, and Hillsborough Ridings of the County of Heathcote.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the City of Christchurch are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said city, having been altered by Orders in Council made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, dated the 10th day of September, 1941, and published in Gazette No. 75 of the 18th day of September, 1941; the 11th day of March, 1942, and published in Gazette No. 26 of the 12th day of March, 1942; the 26th day of August, 1942, and published in Gazette No. 80 of the 27th day of August, 1942:
And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the County of Heathcote, affected by the said Orders in Council, are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule hereto:
And, in further pursuance of the provisions of the said section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the Avonside, Mount Pleasant, and Hillsborough Ridings of the County of Heathcote, affected by the said Orders in Council, are hereby defined as set out in the Third Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the south-eastern boundary of R.S. 112 and the north-eastern side of Langdon's Road; thence proceeding south-easterly along the said north-eastern side of Langdon's Road to the north-western side of Main North Road; thence north-easterly along the said north-western side of that road to the middle of the Papanui Drain; thence south-easterly along the middle of that drain, through R.S's 308, 307, 302, and 276 to the south-western boundary of R.S. 1048; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the north-western corner of Lot 25 on deposited plan No. 6279; thence along the north-western boundary of Lots 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, and 18 on the said plan No. 6279 and the production of that boundary to a point on the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1 on deposited plan No. 6313; and thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 1, plan No. 6313, and Lots 17, 16, 15, and 14 on the said plan No. 6279, and that boundary produced to the south-eastern side of McFadden's Road aforesaid to and across Innes Road; thence easterly along the south-eastern side of Innes Road to R.S. 345A; thence along the south-western boundaries of R.S's 345A and 2795 to and across Westminster Street to the south-western side of Shirley Road; thence along the south-western side of Shirley Road aforesaid to the south-eastern side of Thornton Street; thence north-easterly to and along the north-western boundary of Lots 1 and 34 on deposited plan No. 9658 to the centre of Dudley Creek; thence north-easterly along the centre of that creek to the southern boundary of part Lot 1 on deposited plan No. 8784; thence westerly, northerly, and easterly along the southern, western, and northern boundaries of the said part Lot 1, plan No. 8784, to Hills Road; thence northerly along the western side of that road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 21, deposited plan No. 11557; thence easterly across Hills Road to and along the northern boundary of Lot 21, plan No. 11557 aforesaid, to its north-eastern corner; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Lots 21 to 1 on plan No. 11557, Lots 3, 2, and 1 on deposited plan No. 10870, Lots 1, 2, and 3 on deposited plan No. 7874, the northern and eastern boundary of Lot 2 and the eastern and southern boundary of Lot 1 on deposited

plan No. 11452, and the eastern boundary of Lot 5 on plan No. 7874 aforesaid to the easternmost corner of Lot 6 on said plan No. 7874; thence easterly along the northern boundary of Lots 7, 8, and 9, plan No. 7874, and southerly along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 9 on plan No. 7874, to and across Shirley Road; thence easterly along the southern side of that road and its production to the centre of North Parade; thence southerly along the centre of North Parade aforesaid to and along the centre of Banks Avenue to a point opposite the confluence of Dudley Creek and the River Avon; thence across the said River Avon and easterly generally along its right bank to a point in line with the western side of Kerr's Road; thence northerly by a right line to the centre of the River Avon and easterly generally along the centre of that river to a point on the south-eastern side of the Bower Bridge near the westernmost corner of Reserve No. 3061; thence north-easterly along the said south-eastern side of that bridge and its production to the New Brighton Road; thence south-easterly along the south-western side of that road to a point in line with the eastern side of Racecourse Road; thence northerly to and along the said eastern side of that road to Beach Road; thence easterly along the southern side of that road and its production to low-water mark of the sea; thence south-easterly and north-westerly generally by the low-water mark of the sea and low-water mark of the estuary of the Heathcote and Avon rivers to a point in line with the north-western boundary of R.S. No. 11213; thence by the left bank of the River Avon to a point distant 2 chains from the south-eastern side of the Bower Bridge aforesaid; thence south-westerly by a right line parallel to and distant 2 chains from the said south-eastern side of that bridge to the south-western side of the towpath; thence generally westerly along the said south-western side of the towpath across Wainoni Road to the southernmost corner of R.S. 1151; thence continuing along the south-eastern side of Wainoni Road and across that road to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, deposited plan No. 10020; thence south-westerly along the north-western side of the said Wainoni Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, deposited plan No. 8339; thence to and along that boundary and the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 19, 21, and 23, deposited plan No. 9438, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence westerly along the southern boundaries of Lots 44 to 53, deposited plan No. 9438, and the southern boundary of Lot 18, deposited plan No. 8339 aforesaid, and the production of that boundary to the western side of Kerr's Road; thence southerly along the western side of that road to a point in line with the northern side of Rudd's Road; thence to and along the northern side of that road to Page's Road; thence north-easterly along the north-western side of that road to its intersection with the south-western side of Cuff's Road; thence south-easterly along the production of the south-western side of the said Cuff's Road to the southern side of Page's Road; thence easterly generally along that road to the northernmost corner of Lot 9, deposited plan No. 2698; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 9, plan No. 2698, and the eastern and southern boundary of the land shown in certificate of title, Vol. 192, folio 288, to Kearney's Road; thence across that road and southerly generally along its western side to Ruru Road; thence across that road and along its southern side and the eastern side of McGregor's Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 31, deposited plan No. 1957; thence to the easternmost corner of said Lot 31, plan No. 1957, and along the south-eastern boundary of Lots 31 to 34, Lots 36 to 53, and Lot 4, deposited plan No. 1957 aforesaid, to and across Linwood Avenue; thence along the south-western side of that avenue to the estuary of the Heathcote River; thence southerly by the said estuary to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of Reserve 47A; thence easterly across the Heathcote River by a right line bearing 77° 56', distance 750 links, to a point on the Heathcote County boundary; thence easterly generally along that boundary to a point on the northern side of the Sumner Road in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 71, deposited plan No. 3838; thence southerly to and along that boundary and the eastern boundaries of Lots 61, 56, 78, 77, 57, and 76, deposited plan No. 3838, to the Mount Pleasant Road; thence southerly by the eastern side of that road to the westernmost corner of Lot 1, deposited plan No. 11515; thence westerly across the Mount Pleasant Road by a line bearing 277° 18' to the south-eastern boundary of Lot 48, deposited plan No. 3721; thence south-westerly along that boundary to Major Hornbrook's Road; thence westerly across that road and northerly along its western side and the eastern boundary of R.S. 1161; thence westerly along the northern boundary of that section to the Bridle Path Road on the right bank of the Heathcote River; thence northerly along the eastern side of that road to the northern-most corner of Lot 5, deposited plan No. 11359, at the junction of St. Andrew's Hill Road with the Sumner Road; thence in a northerly direction by a right line across that junction to a point on the northern side of the Sumner Road, being the southernmost corner of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 369, folio 2, Canterbury Registry; thence westerly by a right line bearing 265° 09', distance 681·5 links, across the road reserve and across the Heathcote River to a point on the left bank of that river, being a point on the Christchurch City boundary; thence westerly generally along the left bank of the Heathcote River to a point in line with the western side of Chapman's Road; thence to and along the said western side of that road to the Christchurch-Lyttelton Railway Reserve; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern side of that reserve to the left bank of the said Heathcote River; thence up the left bank of that river to a point opposite the watercourse from Centaurus Road near Heathcote Street; thence across the Heathcote River and along the said watercourse to Centaurus Road aforesaid; thence westerly along the northern side of that road to a point in line with the western side of Albert Terrace; proceeding thence southerly to and along the said western side of Albert Terrace to the southern boundary of Lot 3, deposited plan No. 10297; thence westerly
