The Johnsonville Milk Delivery Notice 1942.
Pursuant to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942, the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows :
- This notice may be cited as the Johnsonville Milk Delivery Notice 1942.
- This notice shall come into force on the Monday following the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.
- The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided for the said district.
SCHEDULE.
THE JOHNSONVILLE MILK DELIVERY SCHEME, 1942.
(1) For the purposes of this scheme, unless the context otherwise requires,
“ The district ” means the Borough of Johnsonville and environs as indicated by zones marked on the plan :
“ The plan ” means the plan of the district deposited for the purposes of the scheme in the Head Office of the Transport Department at Wellington under No. TT. 3359 :
“ Minister ” means the Minister of Transport :
“ Zone ” means a zone of the district as marked on the said plan :
(2) For the purposes of assisting in the administration of this scheme there shall be a committee which shall consist of the following members :—
(a) Two members to be appointed by the Johnsonville Town Board :
(b) One member to be appointed by the parties to this scheme :
(c) The Zoning Officer for North Island.
(3) On the death or resignation of any member of the committee, the vacancy created thereby shall be filled by appointment in the manner in which the vacating member was appointed.
(4) The functions of the committee shall be to receive and investigate complaints affecting the administration of this scheme, to advise the Minister on any matters that may be referred to the committee by the Minister or that may be considered by it of its own motion, and to make recommendations to the Minister for amending this scheme.
(5) Subject to the foregoing provisions of this scheme the committee may regulate its procedure in such manner as it thinks fit.
(6) The names of the vendors who are parties to this scheme and the areas in which they may deliver milk are as follows :

| F. Watkins, Johnsonville | The area as indicated generally by the zone marked in green on the plan, and as more particularly described by the written list of householders attached to the plan. |

The Feilding Meat Delivery Notice 1942.
Pursuant to Regulation 4 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1942,* the Minister of Transport doth hereby give notice as follows:
- This notice may be cited as the Feilding Meat Delivery Notice 1942.
- This notice shall come into force on the Monday following the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.
- The scheme set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby provided for the district described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
THE FEILDING BOROUGH MEAT DELIVERY SCHEME, 1942.
(1) For the purposes of this scheme, unless the context otherwise requires,—
“The district” means the area of the Borough of Feilding :
“Wholesale purchaser” means a person who purchases meat for resale or for transport to an area outside the district or for consumption at a military camp, hotel, hospital, or similar institution requiring large supplies of meat daily.
(2) It shall be a condition of this scheme that meat shall be delivered within the district to the premises of wholesale purchasers only.
(3) The names and addresses of the vendors who are parties to this scheme are as follows :—

E. M. Deslandes, Fergusson Street, Feilding.
J. W. Sporle, Denbigh Street, Feilding.

Notice respecting proposed Alteration of Boundaries, City of Christchurch.
Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, 6th November, 1942.
IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be excluded from the County of Waimairi and included in the City of Christchurch.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
