Rangitikei County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described
in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road :
1 rood 39·3 perches.
Being part Section 25, and closed road.
Situated in Block II, Rangitoto Survey District (Rangitikei
Agricultural Reserve R.D.). (S.O. 3130.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 112505,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of
November, 1941.

section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis
Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described
in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim
as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of
road described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 28 acres
2 roods 21·1 perches.
Adjoining or passing through land in Proclamations 9658
and 9661, and Allotment 188, Town of Grahamtown.
Situated in Block XIII, Whangarei Survey District
(Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29237.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
98455, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of

Altering Proclamation of Maori Council Districts.

A PROCLAMATION.

PURSUANT to section three of the Maori Councils Act,
1900, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter
the Proclamation dated the twenty-sixth day of December,
one thousand nine hundred, and published in the Gazette
on the seventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred
and one, at page 12 defining, inter alia, the boundaries of
the Te Arawa and Matatua Maori Districts as altered by a
Proclamation dated the first day of September, one thousand
nine hundred and four, and published in the Gazette on the
eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and
four, at page 2156, and a Proclamation dated the twenty-
eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-
one, and published in the Gazette on the fifth day of February,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, at page 221,
by excluding the area described in the Schedule hereto from
the Te Arawa Maori District and including the said area
in the Matatua Maori District.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded on the
south by the northern boundary of Putauaki No. 2 Block
from Mount Edgecumbe to the Tarawera River; thence on
the west by the Tarawera River to the Rotorua – Te Teko
Main Highway; thence on the north by the said Rotorua –
Te Teko Main Highway to the western boundary of the
Matatua Maori Council District; thence southerly along that
boundary to Mount Edgecumbe, the point of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of
November, 1941.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Cyril
Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall
be and the same is hereby set apart for the purposes of
Part I of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—PAPAKURA TOWN
DISTRICT.

Lots 1, 20, and 21 of Section 1, Village of Papakura : Area,
1 acre 0 roods 0·5 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of
November, 1941.
