TRANSFERS.
Captain W. A. Knox, 7th Anti-tank Regiment, N.Z. Artillery, is transferred to the N.Z. Ordnance Corps, with same relative seniority as at present. Dated 4th August, 1941.
2nd Lieutenant H. E. McLenaghin, 27th (Machine Gun) Battalion, is transferred to the Railway Operating Group, N.Z. Engineers, with seniority next after that of 2nd Lieutenant S. G. Muir. Dated 29th June, 1941.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to confirm the following appointments, promotions, and transfers of officers on active service with the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force overseas, vide List No. 35:—
APPOINTMENTS.
Commands and Staff.
Lieutenant-Colonel (temp. Brigadier) A. S. Falconer, D.S.O., M.C., relinquishes command of the 9th N.Z. Infantry Brigade, is appointed Commandant, Maadi Camp, and remains seconded. Dated 10th June, 1941.
Lieutenant-Colonel C. S. J. Duff relinquishes command of the Artillery Training Depot, and is appointed to command the 4th Field Regiment, N.Z. Artillery. Dated 9th August, 1941.
Major C. D. A. George, 25th (Wellington) Battalion, is appointed second in command, 25th (Wellington) Battalion. Dated 11th August, 1941.
Major R. W. Harding, M.M., 21st (Auckland) Battalion, is appointed second in command, 21st (Auckland) Battalion. Dated 1st August, 1941.
Captain A. M. Jordan, 2nd N.Z. Divisional Cavalry, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, 2nd N.Z. Expeditionary Force Rest Camp, and ceases to be seconded. Dated 14th August, 1941.
Lieutenant M. P. Chincben relinquishes the appointment of Liaison Officer, 5th N.Z. Infantry Brigade, is appointed Intelligence Officer, 5th N.Z. Infantry Brigade, and remains seconded. Dated 9th May, 1941.
2nd Lieutenant J. J. Garbett, Southern Infantry Training Depot, is appointed Adjutant, 2nd N.Z. Expeditionary Force Rest Camp, and is seconded. Dated 14th August, 1941.
