Taking of Fish for Sale.
AN application has been received from E. R. Avery,
Mapua, for a license to take fish for sale by means
of the fishing-vessel “Rona,” NN. 827, using set-nets, drag-
nets, long-lines, hand-lines, and crayfish pots, catches to be
landed at Mapua.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 2nd October, 1941.

Wilton Road, Northland, Wellington, for a variation of
his existing license covering the taking of fish for sale by means
of the vessel “Vitesse,” WN. 909, using set-nets, drag-nets,
long-lines, hand-lines, and crayfish pots, catches being landed
at Paremata, so as to permit him to land his fish catches at
Island Bay.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 2nd October, 1941.

and Lynch, Ltd., 117–123 Albert Street, Auckland, for
an extension of its existing license covering the manufacture
of women’s shoes by the machine-sewn process, so as to include
the fairstitch method.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 2nd October, 1941.

Slippers, Ltd., Railway Avenue, Lower Hutt, for an
extension of the existing license covering the manufacture of
children’s and women’s sandals and slippers and men’s
evening shoes by the machine-sewn and cemented processes,
so as to permit the manufacture of military footwear by the
sewn and screwed process.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 2nd October, 1941.

spirits from a petrol pump installed at the company’s premises,
Trafalgar Place, Wanganui.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must

Ltd., Masterton, to transfer the company’s Motor-
spirits Retail License in respect of premises in Cricket Street,
to premises in Queen Street, at present occupied by J. Lanigan.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 26th September,
1941.

Revocation of Letters of Naturalization.
Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 11th September, 1941.
IT is hereby notified that, pursuant to clause 7 of the First
Schedule to the British Nationality and Status of
Aliens (in New Zealand) Act, 1928, the Honourable Minister
of Internal Affairs, by an order dated the 8th day of September,
1941, has revoked the certificate of naturalization granted to
Siegfried Karl Engelhardt on the 3rd day of February, 1941,
and it is further directed that the wife, Margaret Engelhardt,
shall cease to be a British subject.
