Agreement for Grant of Easement in favour of Sydney Ernest Terry, of Wanganui, Farmer, over Land in Block XII, Ikitara Survey District, taken for the Wellington–New Plymouth Railway (Turakina–Okoia Deviation) assented to.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the 28th day of January, 1941, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 6 of 30th January, 1941, at page 129, all that piece of land containing 5 acres 0 roods 34·5 perches, being part Section 248, Left Bank, Wanganui River, situate in Ikitara Survey District, was taken for the Wellington–New Plymouth Railway (Turakina–Okoia Deviation) :
And whereas Sydney Ernest Terry, of Wanganui, Farmer, was entitled to compensation for his freehold interest in the said area of 5 acres 0 roods 34·5 perches :
And whereas the Minister of Public Works has agreed to grant to the said Sydney Ernest Terry an easement to carry water in pipes under the aforesaid area of 5 acres 0 roods 34·5 perches at two points in part satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid, and to provide a sum of money in satisfaction of the residue of the said compensation :
And whereas the said Sydney Ernest Terry has agreed to accept such grant of easement and sum of money in satisfaction of the said compensation :
Now, therefore, I, Hubert Thomas Armstrong, the Minister of Public Works, do hereby give notice, in pursuance of section 97 of the Public Works Act, 1928, that I assent to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.

The Hutt Valley Milk Delivery Scheme, 1940, amended.

Wellington, 11th September, 1941.
WHEREAS by a notice (hereinafter referred to as “the said notice”) published in the Gazette on the 19th day of December, 1940, the Minister of Supply, pursuant to Regulation 3 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1940, approved the Hutt Valley Milk Delivery Scheme 1940 (hereinafter referred to as “the scheme”) in respect of the area described in the said notice: And whereas the said scheme was amended by a Warrant published in the Gazette on the 24th day of July, 1941: And whereas it is desired further to amend the scheme: Now, therefore, the Minister of Supply, pursuant to the said Regulation 3, doth hereby amend the table (contained in clause 3 of the Schedule to the said notice as amended) describing the persons entitled to deliver the commodity in the district and the extent to which they are so entitled by inserting at the end of the table the following :—
