Promotion.

Flight Lieutenant Francis William PETRIE, A.M.I.C.E. (T.A.F.), to be Squadron Leader (temp.). Dated 15th September, 1941.

Reduction in Seniority.

Pilot Officer Robert Hamish BALFOUR (Temporary Commission), was dealt with summarily by the Chief of the Air Staff under section 47 of the Air Force Act, and sentenced to take rank and precedence as if his appointment as Pilot Officer bore date the 1st July, 1941.

Major George Irwin, M.A., is granted an Honorary Commission in the rank of Flying Officer. Dated 18th August, 1941.
