A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

Amending a Proclamation setting apart Land as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, and published in the Gazette of the thirtieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, at page 3174 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”), areas of land totalling 18,404 acres, situated in the Rotorua County, Auckland Land District, were set apart as a permanent State forest in terms of section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, and whereas errors of description were made in the Schedule to the said Proclamation and it is desirable that those errors be rectified:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section three of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, do by way of amendment of the said Proclamation hereby declare that the Schedule set out hereunder be substituted for the Schedule to the said Proclamation, and the said Proclamation shall be amended accordingly; and I do hereby further declare that this Proclamation shall take effect as from the date on which the said Proclamation was intended to take effect.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA CONSERVANCY.
ALL those areas in the Auckland Land District, Rotorua County, containing a total area of 18,404 acres, more or less, described as follows: All that area containing by admeasurement 18,218 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks I, V, VI, VII, IX, X, XI, XIII, and XIV, Horohoro Survey District, Block II, Horohoro West Survey District, and being Section 3, Block VI, Section 2, Block X, Horohoro Survey District (ordinary provisional State forest, Gazette 1920, page 2119, 2,408 acres), parts Okoheriki No. 1c and No. 1d Blocks, parts Rotohokahoka A and B Blocks, part Kaitao No. 1 Block, parts Patetere South No. 1, No. 1a, and No. 1b 2 Blocks
