IT is hereby notified that the order of adoption as set out
in the Schedule hereunder has been made by the
Native Land Court under the provisions of the Native Land
Act, 1931.

under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Taking of Fish for Sale.
AN application has been received from A. Morgan, 10
Inghis Street, Seatoun, for a license to take fish for sale
by means of the 25 ft. fishing-vessel “Ajax,” using long-lines
and hand-lines, catches to be landed at Seatoun (Worser Bay).
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 4th September,
1941.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License
under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Fish Retailing.
AN application has been received from P. Nicholson,
Kairaki Beach, Kaiapoi, to commence to carry on
the hawking of wet fish at Pines Beach and surrounding
district.
Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau of Industry on this application,
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish them in writing not later than the 4th September,
1941.

Fireblight Committee Regulations 1928.—Declaration of
Election of Members of the Fireblight Committee of the
Gisborne Commercial Fruitgrowing District.
I, CHARLES EDWARD ROBERTS, Returning Officer
for the purpose of the Fireblight Committee election
under the Fireblight Committee Regulations 1928, do hereby
declare that the following candidates have been duly nominated
for the election of members of the Fireblight Committee
of the Gisborne Commercial Fruitgrowing District, nominations
for which closed at Wellington at noon on the 18th day
of August, 1941 :—
Bell, Porcival George,
Dick, William Carrol,
Hall, Alvin Gardner,
Hardy, James Cecil, and
Kirk, Frederick Thomas.
As the number of candidates nominated does not exceed
the number of members to be elected (5), I hereby declare
the said Porcival George Bell, William Carrol Dick, Alvin
Gardner Hall, James Cecil Hardy, and Frederick Thomas
Kirk to be duly elected.

Town Land in Taranaki Land District for Selection on
Renewable Lease.
District Lands and Survey Office,
New Plymouth, 20th August, 1941.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned
sections are open for selection on renewable lease under
the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at
the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, up
to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, 22nd September, 1941.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at
the District Lands and Survey Office, New Plymouth, on
Wednesday, 24th September, 1941, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but
if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by
any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown
Lands.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of
the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant
is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a
deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period
rent, and lease fee.
SCHEDULE.
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND.
Patea County.—Kakaramea Township.
Sections 330 and 331: Area, 1 acre 0 roods 0-2 perches.
Capital value, £40; half-yearly rent, £1.
The sections, which are situated in the Kakaramea Township, about four miles from Patea, are flat with a slight dip
to creek-bed. The soil is good loam on clay foundation. The
sections are good dairying land, and are suitable for grazing.
Any further information required may be obtained from
the undersigned.
