HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to confirm the following appointments, promotions, and relinquishments of temporary rank of officers on active service with the 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force overseas, vide List No. 29:—
APPOINTMENTS.
Commands and Staff.
Lieutenant-Colonel F. Prideaux, E.D., N.Z. Army Pay Corps, is appointed Chief Paymaster and Financial Adviser, 2nd N.Z. Expeditionary Force. Dated 1st July, 1941.
Major L. F. Rudd, N.Z. Engineers, is posted to the Composite Training Depot, and is seconded. Dated 1st July, 1941.
Major G. H. Heal, N.Z. Corps of Signals, is appointed Deputy Assistant Adjutant-General, Headquarters, 2nd N.Z. Expeditionary Force, and remains seconded. Dated 19th June, 1941.
Captain S. W. Nicholson, N.Z. Artillery, is appointed Staff Captain, Headquarters, N.Z. Artillery, and is seconded. Dated 15th June, 1941.
The undermentioned officers are detached for special duty and are seconded. Dated 3rd July, 1941:—
