Lieutenant-Colonel J. M. Allen relinquishes command of the 31st (Auckland) Battalion, and is appointed to command the 21st (Auckland) Battalion, vice Lieutenant-Colonel N. L. Macky, M.C. Dated 17th May, 1941.

Major D. F. Leckie, is appointed to command the 23rd (Canterbury-Otago) Battalion temporarily, vice Lieutenant-Colonel (temp. Brigadier) A. S. Falconer, D.S.O., M.C. Dated 27th May, 1941.

Major R. C. Queree relinquishes the appointment of Brigade Major, 2nd N.Z. Divisional Artillery, dated 15th June, 1941, and is appointed General Staff Officer, 2nd Grade, 2nd N.Z. Division, vice Major F. L. H. Davis, and remains seconded, dated 20th June, 1941.

Major F. L. H. Davis relinquishes the appointment of General Staff Officer, 2nd Grade, 2nd N.Z. Division, and ceases to be seconded. Dated 20th June, 1941.

Major A. Ainslie relinquishes the appointment of second in command, 4th Field Regiment, N.Z. Artillery. Dated 15th June, 1941.

Major M. A. Bull relinquishes the appointment of second in command, 5th Field Regiment, N.Z. Artillery. Dated 15th June, 1941.
