At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of August, 1941.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

PURSUANT to section four hundred and forty-two of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby vary an Order in Council made on the twentieth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and published in the Gazette on the eleventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, at page 4, and affecting Kawhia N 2B and other blocks, by excluding therefrom the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Appointment of the Electric Range Plan Industrial Committee under the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Industrial Efficiency Act and to Regulation 5 of the Industrial Efficiency (Electric Range) Regulations 1941, I, Daniel Giles Sullivan, Minister of Industries and Commerce, do hereby give public notice of my intention to appoint members of an Industrial Committee in connection with the electric range manufacturing industry referred to in a notice given by the Minister pursuant to section 14 of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, on the 4th day of December, 1936, and published in the Gazette on the 10th day of December, 1936, and therein described as the “Manufacture of electric ranges, including the assembly of parts thereof,” and do hereby call upon persons engaged in the said industry and licensed in that behalf by the Bureau of Industry to submit to me in writing not later than the 6th day of September, 1941, nominations of the names of persons to represent licensees on the proposed Industrial Committee as provided for in the above-entitled regulations.
