PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, notice has been received that

Frederick Arthur Carter,
William Cronin,
Mathew John Barrett,
Charles Francis Shipherd, and
William Neil Hunter
have been duly elected to be members of the Pukekohe Bobby Calf Pool Committee established by the said regulations.

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, notice has been received that

John Albert Goodson,
Walter Allen, and
William Alexander Nisbet Campbell
have been duly elected to be members of the Taumarunui Bobby Calf Pool Committee established by the said regulations.

Waihi Drainage Area.—Notice of Intention to make and levy General Rates.

Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 28th July, 1941.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is intended, pursuant to the Swamp Drainage Act, 1915, and its amendments, to make and levy on the unimproved value of all land within the Pukehina Subdivision of the Waihi Drainage Area constituted under the said Act, the general rates described in the First Schedule hereto, and on the unimproved value of all land included in the Central Subdivision the general rate described in the Second Schedule hereto, and on the unimproved value of all land in the Kaikokopu Subdivision the general rates described in the Third Schedule hereto, such respective rates being for the purpose of meeting maintenance-costs for the period 1st April, 1941, to the 31st March, 1942.

The amount of the general rates will be payable in one sum on the 30th day of August, 1941, on which day the annually recurring special rates already made and levied will also be payable.

The valuation roll and the rate-book of the district will be open for inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, Chief Drainage Engineer’s Office, Room 45, 1st Floor, Government Buildings, Custom Street West, Auckland, and copies of same may be inspected at the office of Mr. H. W. Earp, Clerk, Kaituna River Board, Te Puke, at all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
GENERAL RATES.
Pukehina Subdivision.

Class A.—On the unimproved value of all land classified as Class A by the persons appointed to classify lands under section 3 of the Swamp Drainage Amendment Act, 1928, fivepence and seven one-hundredths of a penny (5·07d.) in the pound.

Class C.—On the unimproved value of all land so classified as Class C, twopence and twenty-five one-hundredths of a penny (2·25d.) in the pound.

SECOND SCHEDULE.
GENERAL RATES.
Central Subdivision.

Class A.—On the unimproved value of all land classified as Class A by the persons appointed to classify lands under section 3 of the Swamp Drainage Amendment Act, 1928, fivepence and forty-five one-hundredths of a penny (5·45d.) in the pound.

THIRD SCHEDULE.
GENERAL RATES.
Kaikokopu Subdivision.

Class A.—On the unimproved value of all land classified as Class A by the persons appointed to classify lands under section 3 of the Swamp Drainage Amendment Act, 1928, fivepence and seventeen one-hundredths of a penny (5·17d.) in the pound.

Class B.—On the unimproved value of all land so classified as Class B, fourpence and two one-hundredths of a penny (4·02d.) in the pound.

Class C.—On the unimproved value of all land so classified as Class C, twopence and three-tenths of a penny (2·3d.) in the pound.

Defining Lands in North Auckland Land District to which Water is supplied pursuant to Section 8 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1939.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by subsection (5) of section 8 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1939, I, James Gillispie Barclay, for the Minister of Lands, hereby give notice that the lands defined in the Schedule hereto are lands to which water is supplied under the said section.

ALL that area in the Hobson County, containing by admeasurement a total of 1,570 acres 1 rood 11 perches, more or less, being more particularly described as follows:—
