At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of July, 1941.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Joseph Francis Curreen,
Ivan Posikovich,
Thomas Melvill Keay,
William Duncan Dysart,
Dan Lunjevich,
Herbert Gainsborough Powell, and
Arthur Barker Murray,
to be the Herekino Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, at two o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the James Hall, Herekino, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—HEREKINO DOMAIN.
SECTION 76, Block VII, Whangape Survey District: Area, 6 acres 3 roods, more or less.

Vesting a Reserve in the Waibi Borough Council.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for recreation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesse of the Borough of Waibi:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesse of the Borough of Waibi, in trust, for recreation purposes.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 185, Block XVI, Ohinemuri Survey District: Area, 1 acre 3 roods 38 perches, more or less.

Revoking the Vesting of Control of Part of the Pukeroa Domain, Rotorua.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of July, 1941.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of the Pukeroa Domain the control of which was vested in the Minister of the Crown for the time being having the administration of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1906, by an Order in Council dated the third day of March, nineteen hundred and eight, and published in the Gazette of the twelfth day of that month:
And whereas the said land is required for hospital purposes and is to be leased to the Waikato Hospital Board under the authority of section twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1940:
And whereas, as a preliminary step towards such leasing, it is desirable that the said land should be declared to be no longer subject to the control of the Minister in Charge of Tourist and Health Resorts:
Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by subsection one of section twenty-three of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal Act, 1940, do hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto (being that portion of the Pukeroa Domain required for hospital purposes) shall be no longer subject to the control of the Minister in Charge of Tourist and Health Resorts.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Borough of Rotorua, Auckland Land District, containing by admasurement 28 acres 2 roods 30 perches, more or less, being portion of the Pukeroa Domain, and being Section 8, Block LVIII, Rotorua Town. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/8/6, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 31322.)

Revoking the Declaration of a Main Highway and Declaring Public Highways to be Main Highways.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of July, 1941.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section three of the Main Highways Act, 1922, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that on and after the date of publication of this Order in Council in the Gazette, the portion of main highway described in the First Schedule hereto shall cease to be a main highway, and doth further declare that the roads described in the Second Schedule hereto shall be main highways within the meaning and for the purpose of the Main Highways Act, 1922.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 11.
Picton—Christchurch.—All that portion of the Picton-Christchurch Main Highway, in the Marlborough County, commencing at the level crossing adjacent to Tuamarina Railway-station, adjoining Section 46, Block VII, Cloudy Bay Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly and then south-westerly direction and terminating at the level crossing adjacent to Spring Creek Railway-station, adjoining Section 47, Block XI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, being a distance of 2 miles 79 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 111556, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
HIGHWAY DISTRICT No. 11.
Picton—Christchurch.—All that road or portion of road in the Marlborough County, commencing at the north-west corner of Section 46, Block VII, Cloudy Bay Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction and terminating near the level crossing adjacent to Spring Creek Railway-station in Block XI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, being a distance of 2 miles 17 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 111556, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Spring Creek—Baramga.—All that road or portion of road in the Marlborough County, commencing at the level crossing adjacent to Spring Creek Railway-station in Block XI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction and terminating at a point on the south-eastern boundary of Section 84, Block VII, Cloudy Bay Survey District, being a distance of 1 mile 2 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. No. 111556, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
