Leasehold Estates or Interests in Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block II, Patetere North Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare (a) that the leasehold estate or interest held from His Majesty the King by Andrew Stewart, of Epsom, Engineer, under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 253, folio 13, Auckland Registry, in the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and (b) that the leasehold estate or interest held from His Majesty the King by Ernest Wilson of Tirau, Farmer, under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 252, folio 109, Auckland Registry, in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby taken for the purposes of a road, and (c) that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land in respect of which the leasehold estates or interests are taken:

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 105196, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of July, 1941.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

All that area containing by admeasurement 14 acres, more or less, being portion of Allotment 110A, Parish of Waiwera, and being all the land contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 393, folio 267, Auckland Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of July, 1941.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

By virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, Thames County, containing by admeasurement 33 acres 3 roods 28 perches, more or less, being part of Section 18, Block XII, Tairua Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the north-western corner of Section 18, Block XII, Tairua Survey District; thence towards the north-west by a permanent State forest, Gazette 1935, page 2735, for a distance of 2461·05 links; towards the east and south-east by another part Section 18 aforesaid by the following lines: 178° 47', 402·3 links; 212° 34', 440·6 links; 222° 28', 652·8 links; 167° 05', 818·4 links; 110° 49', 557·8 links; 156° 27', 365·8 links; 138° 00', 232·9 links; 239° 27', 952·6 links; and 260° 29', 303·4 links; and towards the south-west by the permanent State forest aforesaid for distances 810·2 links and 1510·6 links to the point of commencement, the aforesaid measurements being more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 23/55, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 30646.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of July, 1941.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Park Road, in the Borough of Napier, of a Width less than 66 ft., but not less than 40 ft.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of July, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Napier Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty feet.

SCHEDULE.

That proposed street in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Borough of Napier, containing by admeasurement 33·2 perches, more or less, being part of the Public Reserve shown as Lot 25 on Survey Office Roll Plan 64. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110747, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
