Additional Land taken for the South Island Main Trunk Railway (44 m. to 50 m. 55 ch., Conway River) and for a Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the South Island Main Trunk Railway and for a road-diversion in connection therewith.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of July, 1941.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Crown Land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District for Selection by Discharged Soldiers under Special Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Amendment Act, 1919, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, the Proclamation made on the twenty-eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the Gazette of the thirtieth day of January, then instant, page 219, setting apart land for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers under special tenures in the manner provided in the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.
Puketapu Survey District.

PART Section 3 (now Section 11), Block VIII: Area, 11 acres 3 roods 32 perches.

Given under the Hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of July, 1941.
