Revoking the Setting-apart of Settlement Land in the Canterbury Land District for Selection by Discharged Soldiers under Special Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Amendment Act, 1919, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke (in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto) the Proclamation made on the fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the Gazette of the seventh day of August, then instant, page 2565, setting apart lands for selection by discharged soldiers under special tenures in the manner provided by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.
Kakahu Settlement.—Block XII, Opihi Survey District.
SECTION 1A (part of original Section 1): Area, 248 acres 3 roods 18 perches.
Section 3: Area, 192 acres 2 roods 4 perches.
Given under the hand of his Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of January, 1941.

Land set apart as an Addition to a Public Domain.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to the Waitaki North Domain described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said Waitaki North Domain.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
RESERVE 4426 (formerly closed road), Block XIV, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 3 roods 24·7 perches, more or less.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
WAITAKI NORTH DOMAIN.—CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.
RESERVE 2915, Block XIV, Waitaki Survey District: Area, 57 acres, more or less.

Settlement Land in Auckland Land District proclaimed to be ordinary Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section forty-nine of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, as amended by subsection one of section ten of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1935, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Proclamation declare any settlement land to be, inter alia, ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is settlement land within the meaning of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and it is deemed expedient that the said land shall cease to be settlement land and become ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities so conferred upon me by the aforesaid section forty-nine, amended as aforesaid, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date of the gazetting hereof the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be ordinary Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Matamata County.—Selwyn Settlement.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 395 acres, more or less, being Section 75, Block XVI, Tapapa Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/1515 “A,” deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan No. 18656.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of January, 1941.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—MOUNT WELLINGTON ROAD DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 roods, more or less, situated in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District, being Allotment 4A of Section 3 of Small Lots near Panmure. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1450/617 “A,” deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (North Auckland Plan S.O. 23265.)
