And whereas the Board of the said district has, pursuant to the said section thirty-one of the said Act, requested that the boundaries of its district be altered and redefined by including an additional area therein :
And whereas the consent of a majority of the persons in such additional area qualified to be enrolled on the rate-payers’ list for the said district has been given to the inclusion of such additional area in the said district :
And whereas it is deemed expedient to alter and redefine the boundaries of the said district accordingly :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby—
(1) Alter and redefine the boundaries of the said district so constituted as aforesaid ;
(2) Declare that the boundaries of the said district shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto ; and, further,
(3) Declare that this Order in Council shall come into force on the day following publication hereof in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE WOODLANDS RABBIT DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing 44,100 acres, being part of the Lindhurst, Lothian, Invercargill, Oteramika, and Mabel Hundreds, and bounded as follows : Commencing at the intersection of the Invercargill–Dunedin Main Highway and McKerchar Road ; thence in a northerly direction along the said McKerchar Road to Irvine’s Road ; thence north-easterly along the said Irvine’s Road and Angle Road to the Rakahouka–Dacre Road ; thence easterly along the said Rakahouka–Dacre Road to Robertson Road ; thence due north along Robertson Road to a public road along the northern boundary of Section 23, Block I, Mabel Hundred ; thence in an easterly direction along the said public road to Woodstock Road ; thence in a south-easterly and southerly direction along the said Woodstock Road to the northern boundary of Section 12, Block I, Mabel Hundred ; thence due east along the northern boundary of the said Section 12 and Section 2 to a public road ; thence due north along the said public road to the Titipua Stream ; thence in an easterly direction along the said Titipua Stream to a public road along the north-eastern boundary of Section 56, Block V, Lindhurst Hundred ; thence in a southerly direction generally along the said public road to another public road along the southern boundary of Section 19, Block IV, Lothian Hundred ; thence in a south-easterly direction generally along the said public road to Downs Road ; thence in a southerly and south-westerly direction generally along the said Downs Road to the Invercargill–Dunedin Railway-line ; thence in a south-westerly direction generally along the said Invercargill–Dunedin Railway-line to Swain’s Road ; thence southerly and south-westerly along the said Swain’s Road to the northern boundary of Lot 242, D.P. 158 ; thence westerly, southerly, and easterly along the northern, western, and southern boundaries of the said Lot 242 to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 9, Block XI, Oteramika Hundred ; thence southerly along a closed road intersecting Lot 1, D.P. 153, and forming the said western boundary of Section 9 aforesaid ; thence south-westerly along the continuation of the aforesaid closed road forming the northern boundaries of Lots 10 and 11, D.P. 153, to its intersection with another closed road intersecting Lots 8 and 7, D.P. 153 ; thence westerly generally along the last-mentioned closed road through Lots 8, 7, 6, 12, 13, 42, 43, and 44, and along the northern boundary of Lot 44, D.P. 153, to the Waituna School–Morton Mains Road ; thence north-easterly along the said Waituna School–Morton Mains Road to the Woodlands–Morton Mains Highway ; thence westerly along the said Woodlands–Morton Mains Highway to Clark and Walker’s Road ; thence southerly along the said Clark and Walker’s Road, and westerly generally along Oteramika Road, and northerly along the Woodlands South Road to the Waihopai River ; thence westerly along the said Waihopai River to Evans Road ; thence northerly by the said Evans Road to the Invercargill–Dunedin Main Highway ; and thence south-westerly along the said Invercargill–Dunedin Main Highway to the point of commencement.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1941.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section thirty of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, on petition in that behalf signed by a majority of the persons qualified to be enrolled on the ratepayers’ list for any proposed district, constitute and declare any area of land of not less than one thousand acres a rabbit district under and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act :
And whereas in pursuance of the provisions of the said section thirty of the said Act a petition has been received praying that the area of land described in the Schedule hereto be constituted and declared a rabbit district under and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act, and it is deemed expedient to give effect to the prayer of the petitioners accordingly :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby constitute by the specific name of the “Reporoa Rabbit District” and declare that area of land defined in the Schedule hereto to be a rabbit district under and for the purpose of Part II of the said Act, and doth hereby further declare that the basis on which the Board to be established for the said district shall first levy its general rate shall be on the basis of the acreage of the rateable property in the said district.

BOUNDARIES OF THE REPOROA RABBIT DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, situated in the Rotorua and Taupo Counties, containing by admeasurement 103,200 acres, approximately, bounded by a line commencing at the Maungaongaonga Trig. Station in Block II, Paeroa Survey District ; thence in an easterly direction generally along the southern boundary of Rotomahana–Parekarangi part 6A 2 No. 1B Block and its production across the Rotorua–Taupo State Highway, to the Rotorua–Waikaremoana Road ; thence in a southerly direction generally along that road to its junction with the western boundary of the State forest (Paeroa East Block), Gazette 1929, page 231 ; thence following the generally western boundaries of State forests, Gazettes 1929, page 231, 1922, page 2717, and 1926, page 130, and the southern boundary of the last-mentioned State forest to its junction with a public road at the north-eastern corner of Paeroa East part No. 4A Block, in Block XIII, Kaingaroa Survey District ; thence along that road and the eastern boundary of State forest, Gazette 1929, page 2488, to part Kaingaroa No. 2 Block, State forest, 1927, page 2692 ; thence along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of that State forest, and the north-western boundary of State forest, Gazette 1930, page 2639, to the easternmost corner of Lot 3 on D.P. 22785 ; thence in a generally northerly direction along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 3 aforesaid, and down to the Paetataromoa Stream and Waikato River to a point in line with the eastern boundary of the Paeroa South part B 2 Block, in Block I, Takapau Survey District ; thence across a public road and along the eastern boundaries of Paeroa South parts B 2, and A No. 2 Blocks, the south-eastern boundaries of Section 2, Block VIII, Ngongotaha Survey District, Rotomahana–Parekarangi No. 6A 2 No. 2B Nos. 1 and 2, and No. 6A 2 No. 2A Blocks to the point of commencement.
