Vesting Reserves in the Ashburton Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of June, 1941.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have been duly set apart as reserves for recreation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserves in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Ashburton:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Ashburton, in trust, for recreation purposes.

Reserve 4358, Borough of Ashburton: Area, 32 perches, more or less.
Reserve 4366, Borough of Ashburton: Area, 32 perches, more or less.

Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of June, 1941.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Orokawa Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Ohinemuri County containing by admeasurement 655 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part Lot 1 on D.P. 22757, being Waihi No. 1 Block, and parts Waihi No. 2 Block, situated in Block III, Waihi North Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/888A, deposited in the Head Office, Lands and Survey Department, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Edward Fitz-Gerald Bradley,
Albert Edward Bastard,
James William Parker,
James Stewart, and
George Bonar Wright
to be the Takahue Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, at half-past two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Takahue Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

The Western Side of Portion of Greymouth–Waiho Main Highway, in the County of Westland, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Main Highways Board on the twenty-first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, viz.:
“The Main Highways Board, being the authority having control of the Greymouth–Waiho Main Highway, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the western side of the portion of the said highway fronting Section 1788 and part Section 1705, Block I, Kaniere Survey District”;
