OLD CEMETERY, CROMWELL.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Section 1, Block XCIII, Town of Cromwell, bounded towards the south-east by Litany Street, 1000 links, towards the south-west by Ortive Street, 1000 links, towards the north-east by Town Belt, 1000 links, and towards the north-west by Achill Street, 1000 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked 191/2/535, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Health, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of June, 1941.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section four hundred and forty-two of the Native Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby prohibit all alienation of the land described in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.
SCHEDULE.
SECTION 378, Block III, Sandy Survey District, being Native Pukipuki Lagoon Reserve, as defined on W.D. 4289, deposited in the office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands at the District Lands and Survey Department, Wellington, and containing an area of 389 acres 1 rood 30 perches.

Patea Fire District constituted.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of June, 1941.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section three of the Fire Brigades Act, 1926 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may, by Order in Council, on the application of any Borough Council, declare the district within the jurisdiction of such Borough Council to be a fire district under the said Act:
And whereas an application has been made by the Patea Borough Council, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, and it appears expedient to grant the said application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare the Borough of Patea to be a fire district under the said Act, as on and from the eighteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
Gwendoline Gilby and
Roland Conrad Bush
to be Honorary Inspectors under the said Act.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 16th day of June, 1941.
