Cancelling the Vesting of Part of a Reserve in the Auckland City Council.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is part of a reserve for a site for public buildings of the local governing body and is vested in the Auckland City Council:

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Auckland City Council has duly consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Auckland City Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the City of Auckland containing by admeasurement 12·59 perches, more or less, being part Allotment 184, Titirangi Parish, bounded: Towards the south-east by the Great North Road, 91·61 links; towards the west by part Allotment 18A, Titirangi Parish, 159 links; and towards the north-west and north-east by other part Allotment 184, Titirangi Parish, 19·49 links and 141·87 links, respectively; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/128A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Vesting a Reserve in the Alexandra Borough Council.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for gravel purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Alexandra:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Alexandra, in trust, for gravel purposes.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 1, Block XLI, Town of Alexandra: Area, 3 acres 0 roods 38 perches, more or less.

Vesting a Reserve in the Raupo Drainage Board.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for drainage purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Raupo Drainage Board:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Raupo Drainage Board, in trust, for drainage purposes.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTIONS 95 and 96, Block XI, Tokatoka Survey District: Area, 6 acres 2 roods 29·6 perches, more or less.

Vesting a Reserve in the Kaitieke County Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a roadman’s cottage: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Kaitieke County Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Kaitieke County Council, in trust, for a site for a roadman’s cottage.

SCHEDULE.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 25, Block VII, Manganui Survey District: Area 8 acres 2 roods 21 perches, more or less.

Vesting Land in the Hutt County Council.

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of January, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS under the authority of section eight of the Local Legislation Act, 1939, the Hutt County Council has joined with the Crown in the acquisition of certain land at Lowry Bay, portion of which is to be set aside under the provisions of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the remainder vested in the Council:

And whereas the said Council has undertaken to contribute five-eighths of the total purchase price, and the vendors have agreed that payments by the Council may be made by equal annual instalments without interest over a period of twelve years:
