LOST SHARE CERTIFICATE.
A PPLICATION has been made to the above company
to issue a new certificate of title to ordinary shares
Nos. 782141 to 782248 in lieu of original certificate No. 571
issued in the name of CONSTANCE MILLAR, of Dunedin, New
Zealand, and the said Constance Millar has made a statutory
declaration that the original certificate of title to the said
shares has been lost.
Notice is hereby given that unless within thirty days
from date hereof there is made to the company some claim
or representation in respect of the said original certificate,
a new certificate will be issued in place thereof.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.
N OTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of
the District of Auckland intends to take, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of a public school, the following
land, namely: All that piece of land situated in the
Provincial District of Auckland containing three acres and
thirty-four decimal two perches (3 acres 0 roods 34·2 perches),
more or less, being part of Lot 2 on a plan deposited in the
Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 20129, being
portion of Allotment No. 138a, Matata Parish.
A plan of the land is deposited at the post-office at Edge-
cumbe, and is there open for inspection by all persons at all
reasonable hours.
All persons affected are hereby required and called upon
to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the
taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty
days from the first publication of this notice, to the Education
Board of the District of Auckland at its office in Wellesley
Street, Auckland.

N OTICE is hereby given that by an entry in the minute-
book, in pursuance of section 300 (1) of the Companies
Act, 1933, and dated the 30th day of April, 1941, the following
extraordinary resolution was passed:—
“ That, it having been proved to the satisfaction of the
company that it cannot by reason of its liabilities continue
its business and that it is advisable to wind up, it is hereby
resolved that the company be wound up; and that KENNETH
BOLTON, of Wellington, Accountant, be and is hereby
appointed liquidator for the purposes of such winding up.”
All persons or companies having claims against the company
are required to send full particulars to the undersigned on or
before the 31st day of May, 1941, as otherwise they may be
excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Health Act, 1920, the Public Works
Act, 1928, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933,
and their respective amendments.
N OTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-named
Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it
in that behalf, to execute a certain public work—namely,
for sanitary works at Walworth Road in the City of Wellington—and for the purposes of such public work the land
described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken :
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so
required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the
Town Clerk to the said Council in the Town Hall, Cuba
Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection
without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours ;
and that all persons affected by the execution of the said
public work or the taking of such land should, if they have
well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public
work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in
writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the
first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City Council,
addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
