BALLAN, late of Avonside Drive, Christchurch, Retired
Farmer, but now deceased.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee of the
Dominion of New Zealand, on the 19th day of April,
1934, pursuant to the powers in that behalf conferred upon
him by section 62 of the above-mentioned Act, filed a certificate
in this Honourable Court electing to administer the
above estate under Part IV of the said Act, and that the said
estate will, as from the said date, be administered, realized,
and distributed in accordance with the law and practice of
bankruptcy.
Notice is finally given that all creditors, whether they have
already submitted their claims or not, are required to prove
their debts in the manner provided by the Bankruptcy Act,
1908. Proof-of-debt forms may be obtained at my office.

PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1926, the undersigned
the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the
County of Thames, hereby applies for a license for a water-race, as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof
has been duly marked out for the purpose.

SCHEDULE.
Locality of the race, and of its starting and terminal
points ; also description of land traversed—e.g., unalienated
Crown land, private land, or otherwise : At Thornton's Bay
traversing unalienated Crown land, private lands, and a
public roadway lying between the Mamaku and Pokopokorua
Streams, and along the said streams from the points of
intake, as shown on the attached plan.
Length and intended course of race : Westerly along
Mamaku Creek for 7½ chains, then south for 34 chains, and
easterly along Pokopokorua Creek for 4½ chains.

Points of intake : From Mamaku Creek in Crown land
9 chains due east of Thames-Coromandel Main Highway and
from Pokopokorua Creek at the common boundary of
Sections 1 and 8, Block I, Thames Survey District.
Estimated time and cost of construction : One month;
£500.
Mean depth and breadth : 1½ in. diameter pipe.
Number of heads to be diverted : From Mamaku Stream,
1/50 head; from Pokopokorua Stream, 1/15 head.
Purpose for which water is to be used : Domestic water-supply.
Proposed term of license : Twenty-one (21) years.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore
subsisting between ALEXANDER MURRAY WILLIAMS
and HARLEY GEORGE OSTLER, carrying on business at
Napier as Dental Surgeons, has been dissolved by mutual
consent as from the 26th day of April, 1941. The business
will in future be carried on by the said ALEXANDER MURRAY
WILLIAMS under his own name, and all accounts due to the
late partnership are to be paid to him.

CHANGE OF NAME.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that I, WILHELMINA
MARGARET CLAUSEN, formerly known as
WILHELMINA MARGARET SANDERSON, have, with the written
consent of the Minister of Internal Affairs, pursuant to the
Change of Name Emergency Regulations 1939, abandoned
my last-mentioned name and assumed the surname of
CLAUSEN, and the deed-poll recording change of name was
filed in the Supreme Court of New Zealand at Palmerston
North on the 28th day of April, 1941.

BUILDING COMPANY, LIMITED.
In the matter of the TARANAKI BRICK, TILE, DRAIN, LAND,
AND BUILDING COMPANY, LIMITED, and in the matter of
the Companies Act, 1933.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand dated at New Plymouth, the
29th day of February, 1940, confirming the reduction of the
capital of the above-named company from £11,600 to £10,000,
and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect
to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars
required by the above statute, were registered by the
Registrar of Companies at New Plymouth on the 2nd day of
May, 1941: And further take notice that the said minute
is in the words and figures following:
“The capital of the Taranaki Brick, Tile, Drain, Land, and
Building Company, Limited, is £10,000 divided into 10,000
shares of £1 each, instead of the reduced capital of £11,600
divided into 11,600 shares of £1 each. At the time of the
registration of this minute 5,375 of the said shares numbered
1 to 4200 inclusive and 5801 to 6975 inclusive are issued
and are fully paid up, and no moneys are in arrear for calls
except as to shares numbered 6876 to 6975 inclusive, in
respect of which the sum of £20 is in arrear for calls; and the
residue of the said shares—namely, 4,625—are unissued.”
