MATAKAOA COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Matakaoa County Council proposes, under the provisions in the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of a road—and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the office of the Clerk of the said Council situated at Te Araroa in the said county, New Zealand, and are open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

Under the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Wellington requires to take the land with improvements described hereunder.

In Wellington: Firstly, 6·85 perches, being part Section 776, City of Wellington, and being part of Lot 15 on Deposited Plan 728, fronting Minerva Street, Newtown.

Secondly, 6·63 perches, being also part Section 776, City of Wellington, and being other part of Lot 15 on Deposited Plan 728, fronting Minerva Street, Newtown.

The land is required for the purpose of a public work—namely, a public school within the meaning of the Education Act, 1914.

Notice is further given that a plan of the said land is open for inspection at the offices of Messrs. Brandon, Ward, Hislop, and Powles, Solicitors, Brandon House, Featherston Street, Wellington.

All persons affected by such taking are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Board, the offices of which are situated in Able Smith Street in the City of Wellington.
