and shall on every Friday be opened for the sale of oil fuel from 8 a.m. till 9 p.m. and closed at all other times on every Friday, and shall on every other day of the week be opened for the sale of oil fuel from 8 a.m. till 6 p.m. and closed at all other times on the said respective days: Provided that all such establishments shall be closed for the sale of oil fuel during the whole of every Christmas Day, Good Friday, and Anzac Day, and shall be open for the sale of oil fuel on the day immediately preceding Christmas Day, Good Friday, and New Year’s Day respectively from 8 a.m. till 10.30 p.m., on every Boxing Day and New Year’s Day from 8 a.m. till 9 p.m., on the 2nd January in each year from 8 a.m. till 6 p.m., and on every Easter Monday and Labour Day and on every other Monday observed as a public holiday (other than a public holiday specified herein) from 8 a.m. till 12 noon and closed at all other times on the said respective days.
- In every successive week commencing upon the coming into force of this Order one of the establishments hereinafter named shall in the weekly rotation hereinafter set out be exempted from the provisions of this Order:—

- Notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained I may, on receipt of a request signed by a majority of the members of the Petrol Section Committee of the Hastings Branch of the New Zealand Retail Motor Trade Association (Inc.), direct, in respect of any particular week, that in the evening of one day in that week the establishments required to observe the hours of closing specified in clause 4 hereof may remain open till such later hour on that day as may be specified by me in such direction, provided that notice of such direction shall be published not later than five days prior to such day in a daily newspaper circulating in the Hastings district.

PURSUANT to section 79 of the Social Security Act, 1938, I, Arnold Henry Nordmeyer, Minister of Health for the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby determine that benefits provided by the Social Security (Pharmaceutical Supplies) Regulations 1941, will be available throughout New Zealand on and after the 5th day of May, 1941.

Invercargill Milk Delivery Scheme 1941, approved.

PURSUANT to Regulation 3 of the Delivery Emergency Regulations 1940, the Minister of Supply, being satisfied that all the vendors of milk (otherwise than by sale over the counter) in the district specified in the scheme referred to in the Schedule hereto are parties to the scheme or have been given an opportunity of becoming parties thereto, doth hereby approve the said scheme.
SCHEDULE.
INVERCARGILL MILK DELIVERY SCHEME 1941.
- For the purposes of the scheme—
“The commodity” means milk, and includes cream:
“The district” means the City of Invercargill and the Borough of South Invercargill, together with adjoining areas as delineated by the demarcation of zones on the plan:
“The plan” means the plan of the district deposited for the purposes of the scheme in the Head Office of the Transport Department at Wellington under No. 1185.

The scheme shall come into operation on the day following the date of the publication in the Gazette of notice of the approval of the scheme by the Minister of Supply.
