Reapportioning Representation on the Tauranga Electric-power Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of April, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby add the Town District of Mount Maunganui as a constituent district of the Tauranga Electric-power District, and doth hereby determine that on and after the dates of the next general elections of representatives on the Tauranga Electric-power Board the number of representatives of each constituent district on the Tauranga Electric-power Board shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district; and doth further determine that the constituent districts which are bracketed together in the first column of the Schedule hereto are hereby constituted a combined district for the purposes of the said Act, and that the principal local authority of such combined district shall be the local authority of the combined district distinguished by the letter “(P)” in the first column of the Schedule hereto.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street off Devonport Road in the Borough of Tauranga, of a Width less than 66 ft. but not less than 50 ft., subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 16th day of April, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Tauranga Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto of a width less than sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the said street within a distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE.

That proposed street, in the Auckland Land District, Borough of Tauranga, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 14·1 perches, more or less, being part Allotment 17, D.P. 28582, and being parts Allotments 661, 662, 664, and 665, Section 2, Town of Tauranga. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106049, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Portion of Orkney Street, in the County of Waimairi, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of April, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waimairi County Council, viz.:

“The Waimairi County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Waimairi, by resolution dated the nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of Orkney Street situated in Block XI of the Christchurch Survey District, and passing through R.S. 242 and Lots 1, 2, and 10, D.P. 8042, and adjoining the land comprised in the balance of Certificates of Title 438/55, 383/299, and 419/262, Canterbury Land Registry ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting portion of Orkney Street (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road situated in the Canterbury Land District, Waimairi County, known as Orkney Street, fronting parts Lots 1, 2, and 10, D.P. 8042, being part of Rural Section 242, Block XI, Christchurch Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 110547, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Southern Side of Portion of the Haywards–Paremata via Pahautanui Main Highway exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of April, 1941.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Main Highways Board on the nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one, viz.:

“The Main Highways Board, being the local authority having control of the Haywards–Paremata via Pahautanui Main Highway, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the southern side of the portion of the said highway fronting part Section 97, Pahautanui Agricultural Reserve ”;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of the portion of the Haywards–Paremata via Pahautanui Main Highway (described in the Schedule hereto), within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.

SCHEDULE.

THE southern side of all that portion of road situated in the Wellington Land District, known as the Haywards–Paremata via Pahautanui Main Highway, fronting part Section 97, Pahautanui Agricultural Reserve, Block III, Belmont Survey District.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 105390, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
