Additional Land at Croydon Road taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara–Waikato Railway to take further land at Croydon Road in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by Sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land :—

0 0 0·82 Part Lot 3, D.P. 19842; coloured neutral.
0 0 2·35 Part Lot 4, D.P. 19842; coloured orange.

Being portions of Allotment 167, Parish of Waikomiti.

Situated in Block III, Titirangi Survey District, Glen Eden Town District. (S.O. 31489.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6435, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of March, 1941.

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 11·7 perches.

Being part Allotment 189, Parish of Mangatawhiri.

Situated in Block I, Maramarua Survey District, Franklin County. (S.O. 31493.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6473, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of March, 1941.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Hurunui–Waitaki Railway to take further land at Rangitata in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 16·1 perches.

Part Sections 1 and 2, Block VI, South Rangitata Township, Block III, Geraldine Survey District, Geraldine County. (S.O. 7284.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6401, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of March, 1941.

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
