A PPLICATION having been made to me to register a notice of re-entry by the OPOTIKI MECHANICS’ INSTITUTE, as lessor under lease No. 6121, affecting Lot 8 on Deposited Plan No. 11965, being part of the land in certificate of title, Vol. 90, folio 11 (Gisborne Registry), whereof Charles Henry Fleming, of Opotiki, Accountant, is the registered lessee, I hereby give notice of my intention to register such notice of re-entry upon the expiration of one calendar month from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

RURAL HOUSING LOAN SPECIAL RATE.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the Bay of Islands County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges of a loan of ten thousand pounds (£10,000), authorized to be raised by the Bay of Islands County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of financing the erections of or additions to dwellings for farmers and farm workers, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths of a penny in the pound (¾d.) upon the rateable value (based on the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Bay of Islands, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
