Lands in Canterbury Land District forfeited.

NOTICE is hereby given that the leases of the undermentioned lands having been declared forfeit by resolution of the Canterbury Land Board, the said lands have hereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924, the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, and the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section will be offered for sale by public auction for cash or on deferred payments at the District Lands and Survey Office, State Fire Building, Wellington, on Tuesday, 25th March, 1941, at 10.30 o'clock a.m., under the provisions of the Hutt Valley Lands Settlement Act, 1925.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—TOWN LAND.
City of Lower Hutt.—Belmont Survey District.—Hutt Valley Settlement.
SECTION 31, Block XXIX: Area, 1 rood 3-15 perches. Upset price, £1,200.*
*The upset price includes the land and all improvements on the section, comprising a substantially built seven-roomed dwelling, with bathroom, scullery, and washhouse. The dwelling is equipped with electric light, gas, stove and incinerator, and hot-water service; new bath and patent water-closet.
The section is known as No. 218 Waterloo Road, near the Waterloo Railway-station, in a good residential area. Portion of the dwelling is fairly old, but it has been renovated from time to time.
NOTE.—A drainage easement, 6 ft. wide, runs through the back of the section.
