Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Block XIII, Kairanga Survey District (at Longburn Overbridge.)

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for the Wellington—New Plymouth Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 28·85 perches.
Being Railway land, formerly part Section 21, Karere Block.
Situated in Block XIII, Kairanga Survey District. (S.O. 20521.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108972, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Cyril Louis Norton Newall, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the third day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.
