IN Gazette No. 10, of the 6th February, 1941, at page 229, in a notice published under the heading “Land in the Nelson Land District acquired for a State Forest,” for “plans 108/30–35” read “plans 108/38–43.”

Additional Land near Bay View taken for the Purposes of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Napier Northwards).

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Napier northwards) to take further land near Bay View in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6400, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of February, 1941.

Declaring Portions of Railway Land near Ngatapa to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, it is provided that in the case of any land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work, and not required for that purpose, the Governor-General may, on recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation declare such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924, and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed of under that Act accordingly :
Now, therefore, I, Sir Michael Myers, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.
