2nd Lieutenant (temp.) R. J. Lamond, 8th Medium Battery, 8th Medium Regiment, is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant. Dated 1st November, 1941.

2nd Lieutenant (temp.) R. C. Bailey, 8th Medium Battery, 8th Medium Regiment, is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant. Dated 7th November, 1941.

2nd Lieutenant (temp.) A. D. Stemmer ceases to be posted to the 5th Battery, 3rd Field Regiment, and is posted to the 80th Battery, 11th Heavy Regiment, with seniority from 6th October, 1941, next below 2nd Lieutenant (temp.) F. D. Boswell. Dated 6th October, 1941.

Lieutenant-Colonel (temp. Colonel) S. D. Mason, C.B.E., E.D., is struck off the strength of the 2nd N.Z. Expeditionary Force, dated 15th September, 1941, is reposted to the N.Z. STAFF.

Major (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) C. C. Muscroft-Taylor, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of General Staff Officer, 1st Grade, Central Military District, is appointed to command the Central Fortress Area, Wellington, and retains the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel while so employed. Dated 31st October, 1941.

Captain (temp. Major) R. S. Halliwell, M.C., N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes command, No. 1 Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Papakura, is appointed Area Commander, No. 1 Area, Auckland, and is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel while so employed. Dated 6th October, 1941.
