Major A. N. Oakey, M.C., is appointed Area Commander, No. 7 Area, in addition to his present appointment of Area Officer, No. 7 Area, Napier, and is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel while so employed. Dated 31st October, 1941.

Lieutenant-Colonel A. N. Oakey, M.C., relinquishes the appointment of Area Officer, No. 7 Area, and retains the appointment of Area Commander, No. 7 Area, Napier. Dated 10th November, 1941.

Colonel J. I. Saunders, D.S.O., V.D., relinquishes command of the Central Fortress Area, Wellington, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Supplementary List. Dated 31st October, 1941.

Major C. F. Lowe, E.D., N.Z. Artillery, is appointed to command the 2nd Field Regiment, vice Lieutenant-Colonel R. S. McQuarrie, D.S.O., M.C., and is granted the temporary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel while so employed. Dated 1st November, 1941.
