Alteration of Boundaries, Christchurch Drainage District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act, 1920, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the areas described in the Schedule hereto shall be added to and form part of the Christchurch Drainage District; and, with the like powers and authorities, do hereby also declare that the said areas shall be added to the Rural Heathcote Subdistrict of the said district.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District situated in Block XV, Christchurch Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the existing boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District on Albert Terrace being the north-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 7566; thence easterly along the northern boundary of the said Lot 1, D.P. 7566, Lot 136, D.P. 7182, and Lot 1, D.P. 10297, to and across Albert Terrace; thence along the southern side of Roscoe Street to the north-eastern corner of Lot 1, D.P. 8624; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Lot 1, D.P. 8624, to Albert Terrace; thence south-westerly across Albert Terrace to the easternmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 10297; thence southerly along Albert Terrace to the easternmost corner of Lot 3, D.P. 10297; thence westerly along the southern boundary of the said Lot 3, D.P. 10297, and its production across Lot 84, D.P. 7182, to the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 7566; thence southerly along that boundary and westerly along the southern boundary of Lot 1 aforesaid and Part Lot 2, D.P. 7566, to the southernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 10851, being a point on the existing boundary of the Christchurch Drainage District; thence northerly, easterly, and again northerly along that boundary to the point of commencement.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 30 perches, more or less, and being Lot 1, Plan No. 6985, deposited in the Office of the District Land Registrar at Christchurch, and being part Rural Section 54, situated in Block XV, Christchurch Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 356, folio 167, Canterbury Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of January, 1941.

Lands reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof,

SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 163 acres 2 roods 16 perches, more or less, being Lot 4 on D.P. 12030, and being parts of Sections 20, 21, 22, and 23, Harbour District, Block XVI, Belmont Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/542B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Subject, however, to two pipe-line easements created by Transfers numbered 216109 and 219497, Wellington Registry, as delineated on the aforesaid plan and coloured blue thereon. SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.
All that area containing by admeasurement 32 acres 3 roods 2 perches, more or less, being part of Sections 1 and 47, Block I, Paterson Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Sections 135 and 192, 1338·7 links; towards the north-east by part Section 46 and Lot 9, D.P. 3272, 2027 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 308·9 links, 291·4 links, and 200·1 links; towards the south-west by Section 2, 2947·3 links; and towards the north-west by Section 122, 830·5 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/939, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Baker Park Scenic Reserve.)

PURSUANT to section five of the Native Purposes Act, 1939, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1936.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area of land in the Whakatane County situated in Block I, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 0 roods 34 perches, more or less, being Allotment 21A, Parish of Matata; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan lodged at the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland under No. 3827, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 19th day of December, 1940.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 31st day of December, 1940.

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board has presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor-General, praying that the boundaries of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage District (hereinafter referred to as the “said district”) be altered so as to include therein the area described in the aforesaid petition:
And whereas it is expedient to alter the boundaries of the said district in manner hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in section five of the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Amendment Act, 1933, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby declare that the boundaries of the said district are hereby altered so as to include in the said district the area described in the Schedule hereto.
